I recently took advantage of a promotion that VistaPrint offered for free address labels. All I had to pay for was shipping. As I was checking my account online this am, I had two unrecognizable charges of $14.95. I immediately called my bank and was told that these were charged using my debit card. I then called the 888 # that was listed w/the charges only to find out that I was charged for some sort of VistaPrint membership that I was unaware of. The were very nice, canceled my membership, and credited my account. After dealing w/this, I did a little research to find that there are numerous reviews of fraud against VistaPrint and some people paid the recurring charges of $14.95 per months for several months before realizing that they were doing so. Fortunately, I check my account daily so I caught this immediately. If you've used them, you may want to check your bank acct. or if you plan on using them, BEWARE!

That really stinks I have ordered from them several times and have never had any extra charges. I hope and pray it doesn't change. I'm sorry this happened

Thanks for the warning! I also used them a lot several years ago and never had a problem. I'll keep that in mind if I need printed materials again.

i have had this happen before, I really read every checked item the next time i ordered and as your checking out there is a checked box that say something about signing up for a membership you just have to uncheck it. I think they are hopeing you dont find it.

This happened to me too! They took refunded after I called but I was pretty annoyed by this. I think there was something I accidentally clicked on when I checked out.

wow i have use them several times no problem .just this week i ordered return labels paid with paypal no problem .thank god you caught that

This has happened to me before while using the dh card. So you now I never heard the end of it. Also, this is why I will never order anything else from vistaprint.

I have heard of this happening before, which is why I steer clear of their deals. I don't like being tricked into signing up for some membership to something, and it's really shady they make you hunt for the darned check box. No thanks!

This is good to know. I have ordered from them many times in past with no problems, but anything can change at anytime.

they are just like other companies . . . there are boxes when you check out to add additional products/services. you have to make sure you've only checked (OR UNCHECKED!) what is applicable! I've ordered probably a half dozen times and never had any problems . . . in fact, just rec'd a banner and gift certificates yesterday from them! And I don't find that they fill my inbox, either. Probably once a week or so I get an email, but sometimes they're full of stuff I need/want, so I"m ok with that!

I have to say that VistaPrint has always been great for me...

BUT-isn't this ironic? When I clicked to read your post, there was an ad for Vista Print underneath it!!

I had something similar happen with a different company so I understand the frustration. It is the whole make sure you double check everything that is checked.

I love VistaPrint and have never had a problem... but I can see how this could happen since they have all of those offers to go through before checkout.

I have used them several times and have not had any problems as of yet. I will keep an eye out though thanks for the heads up!
