DD (10) is CONVINCED that our cat meows in Spanish
I just had the following conversation with my 10 year old DD, who was born in Guatemala.

DD: Mommy, did you know that Lily kitty meows in Spanish?

Me: No.

DD: Well, she does.

Me: How does a cat meow in Spanish?

DD: She rolls her R's. (she put her hand on her hip, rolled her eyes and sighed loudly before responding!)

Me: (I just stood there scratching my head, with a confused look on my face, trying to figure out where there was an R in meow)

DD: (sensing my confusion) Most cats say "meow", but Lily kitty says merrrrrrrrrowwwwww.



I suppose anything is possible!
