Looking for smaller, indestructible toys

My dachshund loves to play ball/fetch but every toy we buy she completely destroys in an hour. I even bought one at Petsmart with a money back guarantee and they didn't believe a doxie did that damage!

West Paw Designs carries a line of supposedly "indestructible" dog toys. (Home | West Paw Design). If your dog destroys it, send them the UPC and a receipt and they'll give you your money back.

I have a heavy chewer and the only toy she cannot destroy are Nylabone products. Look for ones that are labeled for "heavy chewers". They are not inexpensive, but since she cannot destroy them, they are worth the investment. Sometimes you can find PDF coupons for Nylabones. I buy from entirelypets.com. Best of luck!

We had a dachshund (recently passed away) who would shred toys like nobody's business. Heaven forbid if he came across a toy with a squeaker in it.

Happy the link worked, sorry to hear they didn't work My rottie did very well with the Nylabone Gallileo. Hopefully you can get your money back. On the bright side, if she's destroying the bones instead of your shoes that's a good thing. Best of luck and hopes she'll grow out of it.

Definitely love the kongs and kong toys!! We've got Pit Bulls who can destroy everything, and before them there were the Malinois (Maligators) and Bloodhounds (beavers in fur). It takes about a year before they wear it down enough to break off a little piece, then I throw it away and get them new ones. They crunch up Nylabones in less than an hour :-(( so the kong toys are the only thing that last around here.

If you put a little smear of peanut butter on the inside of the kong and stick a couple pieces of kibble to it, they'll work on them for hours.

Good luck!
