I have 3 chickens, we live on the edge of town so if we are allowed them or not is kinda a grey area. Our neighbors that are in city limits have goats so I figure 3 little chickens can't cause much trouble. They have a hen house in my garage. I have no idea what breed they are, just that they are orangy-red. They are such funny creatures, just gotta love 'em.

I live in a village - which is awful. All it means is more rules and more taxes, and no benefits! We are not allowed to have chickens, but my fil/mil live outside of town and my chickens live there. We are there all the time anyway! They are such funny animals. Every time I walk by their enclosure they yell at me because I always bring them treats when I visit. They are still babies, only about 10 weeks old. 6 hens and a gorgeous black australorp rooster. In the sunlight he has purple, blue, and green feathers.
