That's a great scenario tenisha. However, you don't have to buy all the items in your 1st transaction ( unless you want to ) to reach $40 + because the amount needed to spend is based on shelf price.. not sale price. I will list the shelf prices - in red (varies slightly form each store) of the items you're buying:

Just came back from PathMark and I can confirm it is off of shelf prices. I simply added up the shelf prices as I picked up items and got both the Kraft and General Mills OYNO coupons. A really good deal.

Thanks. I have a big family, so I'm still going to get the items from my first transaction. I am also going to try out the GM deal with 7 boxes (They average about $5 reg price at my PM) and my $1/2's to see if the Cat prints. I'm dragging mom along to bring her PAC card to do two more transactions with my remaining Kraft and GM Q's (I really hate to see Q's expire, even if they are IP's!). She is really excited to see how much she can come out with for less than $30. If it all checks out, we should both walk out with $18 in Cats and around $28 OOP at the register!

To add my cent, there is a coupon magazine from Pathmark, the coupons inside can not be doubled, and only can be used for 1 product in one transaction. I did not pay it attention before, because the amount of discount was small (mostly -$0.50 Qs) can not be doubled, and only allow to use one coupon/shopping family, meaning that if you buy Sargento shredded cheese 2x$4, you can only use one coupon of $0.50, the second one would not beep. (I tested today)

Although you can only use only for 1 item/ shopping family, you may save some extra cents from your trip.

My PM would not double the .55 Velveets Coupons. The Customer Service representative offered me the explanation of "Some coupons don't double. The register decides which ones are doubled." When I explained that they were not marked do not double, she just repeated herself. I asked for a copy of the coupon policy and she pointed to a little plaque that explained that coupons up to .75 cents will be doubled and that no more than 4 coupons will be doubled, which still didn't answer my question.

Any of you have any tips or help?

That sucks. I guess you could always try another register...although I think mine doubled automatically at my PM. Also, my PM had no problem doubling a whole stack of coupons. I might try another PM or try and find a more sympathetic cashier. It does seem that coupon policy at PM is determined by store, not corporate.

My cashier was actually great, she did three sep. transactions for me so that I could get my catalinas. I think that if I had realized that they weren't doubling when she was ringing me up, then she would have fixed it.

Oh well, I guess it's just beginners luck

Was focusing on the shoprite deals this week. Already at $53, on my way to $120 to get $40 back.
Not sure I have coupons left to take advantage of these too.
