I loved cloth diapering and saved money with it. I preferred good quality prefolds with a snappi and mother-ease air flow covers. Cloth Diapers & Parenting Community - DiaperSwappers.com which is a sister site to AFC, is a great place to buy inexpensively, sell used items or learn about cloth diapering.

I also loved prefolds and snappi route. I made my own covers/aio's so that saved a bunch there. I did cloth diapers with my last baby and so wish I would of known about them with my girls. I LOVED my cloth diapers and was actually so sad when my baby potty trained

I use bumgenius one size diapers, they go from newborn to 30 lbs! They have pockets to more or less absorbancy, I hardly have any leaks, and the colors are super cute! Plus there is no foldinf, no pibs, no snappis, just stuff and go! They come wirh snaps or velco just like disposables and we have saved a ton already. I made extra soakers for mine and I line dry the diapers too!

I looove cloth diapering. I think I have tried all the brands of cloth seriously. Currently I am in LOVE with alva baby. You can join coops and get them for a REALLY good deal. honestly though I recently taught a class on how to diaper your kid from birth till PL for <150 bucks. You don't HAVE to have the fancy cloth diapers...(but if your like me you won't be able to resist the cute prints) LOL

I did AIO's with inserts for heavy wetting. I also did wool covers for nighttime sleeping. I loved cloth diapering. I bought name brand AIO's in a vareity of styles for two kids, my entire stash cost me 500 to diaper both of them for their entire diaper years. I didn't get to cloth diaper my third where we lived in washington and he potty trained super early and it really bugged me. Disposable diapers are a huge waste of money and terrible for the environment. I wouldn't buy too much before you have a baby because products are constantly evolving and you have no idea what kind of 'wetter' to buy for as of yet. It would be awful to buy a ton of a product to find out it doesn't work for your babe.

Get a dollar tree test and test first thing tomorrow morning. I know it sounds weird but the dollar tree tests are good. Don't worry yet, I believe the instructions say the result may change if read after so long. Just retest and wait. Good luck.

I always had good results with tests that show 2 lines and not the plus or minus. So I think either would be fine.

That is called an evaporation line. It is not a positive, and it is why all tests have time limits on them in which they should be read by. Dollar Tree tests are nutorious for developing these evap lines at around the 12 minute mark so I would avoid those also. The best tests for early detection are tests that measure lower miU of the HCG hormone in your urine. So you're looking for something that measures around 20 or 25 miU. Dollar Tree measures at 20 but is cheap quality and gives false positives on a regular basis, I've had a few myself. I recommend the Answer, First Response or Clear Blue Easy tests. Store brand tests are most likely going to be set at 50miU and EPT is also 50miU, basically you need to be a good month late or more on your period to get a positive with those tests. For more information on pregnancy tests, you can read a PeeOnAStick.com I speak to you with many years of infertility experience and a recovering pee on a stick addict.

Glad you got that straightened out! Eep. Just wanted to echo others and recommend DiaperSwappers and prefolds with covers.
