I'm sending you only good Vibes. and praying that God will see you through this hard time your going through and to put his protecting hands around you and kids. seems like you have gotten good advice from here. be sure to keep all written and tape all conversations just in case. most of all. watch what is said in front of kids. he might not but you have to show them you are a better person then him.

well the conference didnt go well...I gave him all the days/nights he wanted except one night, I was willing to give him the evening, just not that one night, and he refused so now it has to escilate to court...if I gave him that night, he wouldnt have to pay support. He only started keeping them overnight the day I filed for support...The nine months before that, they stayed all nights with me.

also Charliegirl, some times court is the best to resolve these issues. Judges can see beyond the ex's mean and hateful ways. Plus they will no doubt want to talk to your oldest child. I am sure he will let the court know how he feels and he shouldn't be scared. They are very nice about dealing with children. Make sure you keep a diary of everything that happens in regards to your ex. Don't say anything in front of children. Even though they have a way of knowing what is going on. I am sure they feel your pain. Hang in there like I said before it gets harder before it gets better. Hug those children daily and be blessed with what you have. ugh...so the last 2 months, Ex really is playing the dad card. Which personally, I'm thrilled with cuz the boys benefit. SO I agree to 5050 custody if he agrees to paying half the excess bills like medical and tuition, and now he want to take ME for support. WTH just happened? We went from a dead beat to now wanting his boys and support? So now he said he wants 5050 custody, me to pay all the outstandind bills and pay him support...

i feel like my head might explode. I'm trying to be reasonable. He never took the boys til the day I filed for support. He said he gave me everything when he left, um, yeah, everything we still owed and all the bills he wasnt paying that I spent the last year and a half trying to catch up. just a tidbit, when he left, I was 20 days from losing my car, I got served tax sale papers on my house, and had to come up with $1000 on the PAYMENT plan in 3 DAYS to keep my lights on. I gave him $500 and his credit card bill (that had a $300 BALANCE). He gave me the "he hasnt been happy" as with research, he was apparently happier with his new girlfriend who he was wining and dining with our money. I just wanted him out of my life.

Let me lighten your load. My ex did the same thing when I filed for custody of my daughter. I think they all go by the same play book. Don't let hime get the best of you. If it is working out for kids go for it. But you watch it will get old. That is how mine did. After a couple weeks he quit bothering with her. I hope this don't happen to you. Keep a stiff upper lip your not the first mom gone thru this ordeal. We are all rootin for ya.
