| any book by Robert Munsch -- esp recommend The Paperbag Princess for your DD DS would probably love the FROGGY books by Jonathan London (Froggy Goes to School; Froggy Bakes a Cake; there are a ton of titles); he would also like I'm Taking a Trip on my Train by Shirley Neitzel -- she has many titles that follow that same sort of repetitious style and are very cute: The Bag I'm Taking to Grandma's; Our Class Took A Trip to the Zoo DD would probably like Amelia Bedelia books by Peggy Parish other titles: The Three Little Wolves & the Big Bag Pig Click Clack Moo by Cronin WOLF! by Bloom & Biet I know more... let me think.... |

| Ditto on Paper Bag Princess for anyone's DD - just a wonderful book for girls (and boys too if you want them to keep the right attitude...LOL) Click Clack Moo is one of our favorites around here (I have 2 DS 3 & 5 if you need that info). Some of the less popular Dr. Suessy books are great, DS#2 is currently obsessed with Hand Hand Fingers Thumb (sorry, no author avail, not searching their room for it while they're asleep, don't know if it's an actual Dr. S or a "sort of" that gets shelved with them. |
