Hi all,I need a cheap idea for display books so that kids can see them. Anyone have an idea how to make or buy a cheap one? This is sort of what I am looking for but I really just want one that will sit on top of a book shelf:

They talked about putting gutters around the room (low) way back when I was teaching, pretty cheap, displays the books...don't know of anything like your picture you could get cheap.

post on freecycle and see if anyone has one to give??

if you ask at Barnes & Nobles, they will give you some of their corrugate POP displays that they aren't using (especially if you tell them that it's for a school room). Or try a comic book or magazine shop, they have the old wire shelves that work really good - I bet they have a ton sitting in their basement collecting dust.

Blockbuster will do the same thing. Good luck!
