Yesterday I started having some mild, pre-term contractions and have dialated between 1/2 cm & 1 cm. Doctor has put me on 1/2 days at work through Thanksgiving and will re-evaluate then. I;m only 32 weeks (tomorrow) so we're hoping to get to at LEAST 34....36 would be better. Baby's size looks good and chest is rising & falling....a good indicator of lung development.

Just wanted to let you all know why I wasn't around. I'm not contracting any more today, but feel like I got run over by a truck. I'm ready to go home & lay down already!!

Goodness, Kristie! Take it easy and tell Jacob it's cold out! He needs to keep baking!

Thanks! Doctor was really happy with size & chest movements. Apparently that's the ONLY good thing about PIH.....causes lungs to develop more quickly (thanks baybeenurse for that info!!).

If nothing else...he's gotta stay in there till after Christmas just to spite my MIL!!

Hope your contractions stay away and Jacob makes it to 37+ weeks.

I went into labor early with both of mine. With my DD I was 34 weeks. Dilated to 3 and 90% efaced. She made it to 39 weeks. With my DS I was 4cm and 90% efaced and he was a week late. Try to take it easy and rest.
