Here's the deal ladies (and few gents). There is a full moon tomorrow (Thursday) and I really want this little one out! Seems like tomorrow might be a good day. I'm asking for any labor vibes, positive thoughts and ::gasp:: prayers you can spare to help me send this little lady an eviction noticed with a BIG 11/13 date on it.

For those of you who want to know, here are my stats from my midwife appt that I had this morning. I'm 38 weeks pregnant, but measuring 40 weeks. Currently 2cm, 50% effaced and at station -2. My midwife said that she thinks I'll have her by the end of this weekend (but of course that's no guarantee). Baby is plenty strong and big enough to come out whenever she is ready. I've been having mostly BH's, but a few real contractions everyday.

So could you please help me out by thinking of me tomorrow? I'm so ready to meet our new addition!

Awwwwwwwww!! Sending you labor vibes!!! Mine both came 3-4 weeks early and were nearly 7 1/2lbs each. The day my midwife checked me with my #2 was the night I went into labor and had him 2 hours later! :-) Many happy labor vibes to you....so cool you have a midwife! Are you going drug free too?

Sounds so familiar! This was me with DS! I was at my due date measuring 42 weeks. They tried everything to get him out to no success. I ended saying I was done after they broke m water & still nothing. I ended up hacing a c-section. Try walking a lot or the big S!

That's the plan. I'm going to labor at home as much as possible and then my midwife will deliver me at the hospital. I'm doing hypnobirthing! I have three vertabrae fused so an epi would be quite difficult. Keep your fingers crossed!

Try 'curb walking'........walk down the road with 1 foot on the curb and 1 foot on the ground. All of the old women in my family swear by it! Take MM along to help you keep your balance. If that doesn't work....well......MM can always help out in other ways!

For sure. Lots of those things going on right now. I walked for 3 hours today and well, the other one has been accomplished too.

When I was sick of being preggers I went to the gym ( 3 days before EDD..... 1 cm dialated) I went to the gym..... I briskly walked on the tradmill for about 2 hrs...... worked like a charm!!!!!

You can do it!! Had both of mine at home....so I'm sure you can do drug free too!! :-) When I hear you're in labor you'll be in my thoughts! What kept me going was what my mom said.... when you can't take it anymore...it's almost over. I did some hypnobirthing with my first.... :-)
