| what size is a child friendly size cup? Matthew's school list states, "Plain paper cup -- child friendly size" What do you consider a child friendly size? I scored 2 bags of bathroom size cups today -- they are 3 oz. 150 per bag. They were BOGO and after coupons = tax only. I think they are a good snack size -- but wondered if I should send in some 9 oz also? (The 9 oz in this brand are also BOGO; thus tax only after coupons.)Hard question for me b/c my 4 yr old loves to drink out of these 20 oz plastic tumblers. Wants to be 'just like daddy' ![]() Last edited by LyndaSLP; 07-31-2005 at 07:57 PM. |

| I am thinking 8 oz cups could be sufficient. That is what they used at my twins preschool |

| on my son's school list they listed the 16oz cups for Kindergarten. I actually think they should have the 9oz cups myself. |

EXCEPT, the teacher specifically said "plain". I figure she doesn't want to pass out 'decorated' cups only to hear a child say, "BUT I WANTED THE ELEPHANT CUP!" LOL!!!! I put that reference in my poll just to give ppl an idea of something in that size. The good ol stockpile of Dixie Kritter cups will have to stay in my garage. DH should enjoy another few months of Kritter cups in the bathroom! ![]() |

Let me tell you: Dixie first came out with the animal cutlery. They were cute. But Hefty blew them out of the water! The ZooPals cutlery is way cuter! And sturdier (sp?) too!! It has 2 type knives: one is a swordfish - the teeth of the fish are the serrated (sp?) edge of the knife. One fork is a reindeer -- the reindeer antlers are the tongs of the fork. There's also a butter spreader (no serrated edge) = a badger/beaver and the tail is the spreader part. The Hefty Zoo Pals are soooo cute! When I first opened a box and checked them out, my first thought was "Bravo to you Hefty! This is such a better product than Dixie has!" |
