Whoops! I just realized that many of you are thinking "Isn't she a little late?" but no, my kids go to year round school so the end of this school year is now three weeks away. Anyway, we have this great pottery store here http://artfulpotter.com/somethingsafoot.shtml
and I am making flower pots for each of my sons teachers. They have the absolute cutest ideas and basically what you do for a class gift is buy the unglazed peice and have each kid put a thumb print on it. The store decorates the prints into different designs (in this case bugs) and puts all the kids names on it. They write things like "thanks for helping us grow" or "we will bee missing you". The store paints and glazes it...all for about $40. If you are collecting from all the parents that is nothing!
