First off, I am not perfect in this dept and my proof is y 4 y/o. I was so worried about his eating that he is now the pickiest eater EVER...picky even about how things are CUT. Do not obsess about their food. FIx healthy food, give them the healthy food, wipe your hands of it. You might want to add bbq sauce or ketchup to make some things more appealing and I always add seasoning (just not cayenne and stuff) b/c I tried to be perfect and do "no salt" and all tha for my oldest and he ended up just thinking food was gross. The twins eat stuff seasoned to an adult's taste and they will try most anything. I decided I could not make separate meals for everyone and since the babies were eating they have eaten what we had. I even homemade babyfood to get them used to mama's cooking (no salt in the purees though). Don't give her JUST the foods you know she will eat. Keep giving her everything you are eating and hope for the best. You wills ee if she is getting dehydrated or losing weight. My guys are 50th percentile for weight and their big brother has always struggled more w/ weight b/c what he will eat is fruit, sausage, cheese, and less healthy things even though he doesn't eat much. I do always make sure to have a protein, a fruit, milk, and a starch for bfast. At lunch I do those but add a veg, supper is the same. I may let them have a banana or something after their afternoon nap or while I am fixing supper if they are crying and trying to reach in the garbage for food (yeah, that happens...they take a long nap after lunch).

I totally reiterate what freebie mama said...your job is to offer the healthy food...not digest it for her.k
