Limit 4 like coupons but unlimited amount again.

I am going to try to hit the triples sale next week! I always get Huggies wipes for free or really cheap at the triples sales! YAY!!

Oooh! I went tonight and just got back a little bit ago. I did SOOOOOO good!
Total before coupons/A&P card - $202.96
total after coupons/card - $76.29!!!!!! my receipt is like 3 1/2 feet long!
I have to say though, checking out took forever and a day. Apparently my A&P does not have checkout machines that automatically price adjust so the cashier had to go through each of the coupons and each of the sale items and readjust to make sure I wasn't getting overage. The manager came over to help her (cos I had so many coupons - I guess), and I asked her what the problem was. She said, 'our machines don't price adjust". I said "that's ridiculous!" and she said "tell me about it!"
All in all worth it for the money saved!

Oh! AND A&P has 12 packs of pepsi on 4 day sale for $1.88 each! It's only til tomorrow though - so hurry!

Saved with A&P card: $23.80
OOP: $26.22
I bought 40 items so that made each item .66! And I got a Catalina for a free 24 pack of America's Choice water!

I did OK on my first trip -- I probably wouldn't go again only b/c the A&P is a bit out of the way and it's an old yucky A&P that didn't have at least half of what I went for... i used to live in a town with a gorgeous A&P but no more...

I did save 57% after coupons and stuff... I would've done better if my DH wasn't craving $$ (non-sale) cold cuts and ODWALLA juice which is pricier... He's lucky I love him, or I'd never buy that stuff if I didn't have a coup!

Here's the breakdown:

4 bags of Rice Chex mix (bogo free + .50 cent off coups for 2 of them)

Barber Chicken cordon blue ($1.00 coup)
1/2 pound turkey breast
1 mango tango Odwalla juice

So before Bonus club savings, Manu coupons and multiples, I would've paid $46.47 and I wound up paying $20.07 -- not bad!

Yeah, my closest A&P is small and has poor selection. I went there once for triples but couldn't find much so then I started going to one that is 10 miles away, which is much bigger and much better.
