Anyone else had this experience? Honestly, A&P has gotten very unfriendly to coupons lately....1st no more internet printed stuff, then this type of stuff...

Last week Frigo String Cheese was on sale B1G1 Free. I went up to purchase 2 string cheese packages. I had $1.50/1 package coupons. I gave the cashier the 2 package and the 2 coupons along with the rest of my order. She flat out refused to take a second coupon for the string cheese even though the coupon is off one item and I had 2 items and 2 coupons. She stated that because the sale was B1G1 they won't take a coupon on the 2nd item.

Really? Seriously?? I was annoyed, I told her to give me the coupons back and keep the cheese. I didn't buy it. I mean really, when an item is 50% off, they take 1 coupon per item. B1G1 is essentially the same as paying 1/2 off for each item, and they refused the coupon?

Definitely a 1st for me. I've been gravitating towards shopping elsewhere, I have had a few awful experiences lately with A&P. Anyone else experience this type of stuff, or is it just me?

That's annoying! I only go to A&P for triples so I can't really answer you.

No worries, it was just really aggravating. I'm starting to shop here less & less because of all of the hassles, honestly.

I find that ShopRite is the best with coupons. At least mine is!
