Just wanted to throw this tip out there b/c I certainly didn't know about it until I stumbled across it myself. A lot of charities will post a Wish List of their needs on their website to help potential donors focus on what's most needed. For my recent donation, I just googled my county and the word "charity" to find places to donate to. Then when I found the local Domestic Violence Center office, I found a great Wish List that really helped me pick and choose out of my stockpile. It also happened to be during HT Superdoubles, so since they had Juice as one of their "Always Needed" items, I added it to my Superdoubles trips. It was a freebie anyway.

Two important things I learned from their Wish List was that they do not take hotel or sample sized toiletries and that they do not need baby wipes. I was surprised to read that so I emailed the center and found that the residents live communally so they stock the bathrooms with full-size shampoo, etc. They keep the online Wish List up to date and they just didn't need baby wipes at that time. I was very glad they listed that detail b/c I had loaded up a big ziploc with samples and travel sized items that could be better used elsewhere.
