Do you know how great it is for a Cashier, Store Manager, Stock Person, or any other Store/Restaurant employee when they receive praise from a customer to their manager? Some stores even have rewards programs for their employees for receiving so many praises.

Please consider seeking out something good that someone has done for you recently (or keep it in mind for a future trip) and make that phone call to the corporate office and let them know how their employee helped you out!

Post in this thread if you know of a specific store's policy on this and we'll try to keep a list of helpful tips. Post back when you've made a call as well and keep encouraging others to do the same!



Stores and their policies:


Macy's - look at the bottom of your receipt for instructions on filling out a survey online - your cashier will put their name there.

I didn't call, but I went to the customer service desk at Walmart today. My cashier was so great - she really knew what she was doing with coupons and was super sweet. I told the lady working at C.S. and she IMMEDIATELY sent someone to thank her. I don't know for sure if that's the policy at all Walmarts, but that's what happened today for me.

I have called Corp. and spoke to someone there about a cashier at the store here. She is the best cashier and like shopping when she is on. Well for them the district manager finds out than tells store manager and than of course the employees. It goes in their file and gives them bonuses as well..The look at that for raises and promotions..

Many times when I have a complaint about a store not following their coupon policy, the person in the store may have actually been nice about it, they were just incorrect. Even though I may be calling or emailing to complain, I make a point of letting the CS person know about it if the employee was polite and professional otherwise.

I work at walgreens, and it's great to hear from customers that you're doing a good job. Usually all we get are how crappy their service was, but it's awesome to hear a good statement

I have my favorite cashiers at each of my stores and try to shop when I know they are there. I've told the CSM how much I appreciate them, but if there's a place on their website, I'd love for corporate to know it too. Does anyone know if you can do that on Target and CVS sites? Thanks.

Thank You for posting! This is a great reminder to all! My DH and I usually do this when we have a great waitress/waiter or when ever we have great CS from a store. It is so much less STRESSFUL to call when it is a good thing rather than a bad experience!

I have called corporate to brag on cashiers at CVS, Walgreens, and Family Dollar. I get so tired of having the crappy ones, that when I get a good one, I call as soon as I get out of the store to brag!!!!

Thanks for reminding me... I had a great cashier on the 4th of July who so patiently did all of my coupons, rainchecks and competitor's Q's at my Meijer... I had meant to talk to the manager and forgot! Just sent it into Meijer's email!

Yep, I just did this for Bath and Body works! I sent an email and got a really nice email back. They were going to contact the regional manager and specifically named the two employees that went above the top! It feels good to do that!
