Just bought a bunch of pens, sharpies, correction fluid - spent $113.63 - used Office Max rewards to pay so OOP = $0.00 - just logged into my officemax rewards account and I have new rewards for my purchase this week.

I love the officemax rewards.. i use them for my work since I order supplies...

I have enough to buy myself like 2.5 laptops.... I had like $1000 in rewards from December. I rolled my older ones and bought a ton of backpacks that were 100% free after rewards..

It's a great program!

I applied for an OfficeMax rewards card and last month purchased things with rewards - some of the rewards are for turning in toner cartridges. I used my rewards to purchase items that had other rewards. Keep in mind this is similar to Office Depot rewards but Office Depot rewards do not roll. Don't try this at Office Depot.

The items I purchased can only be purchased online and not in the store. I logged into my rewards account and added they items to my shopping cart - then checked out using my rewards certificate from last month.

both office depot and office max rewards should work like gift cards. The way I am able to roll my rewards to keep them for when I buy my laptop is to you like 3 months worth of rewards then just return it.. you get a gift card back. maybe more work but its worth it to not let the rewards go to waste when I am saving them for a big purchase...

Do Office Max rewards roll again? The last time I tried to roll mine was about a year ago and they didn't -- I called and the customer service reps said they no longer allowed the rewards to be rolled into other free after rewards items.

You won't get a gift card in the mail -- you'll get $16.98 in MaxPerks rewards put into your MaxPerks account. You'll get an e-mail when the money is available and then you print a certificate off the website.

You'll have to read the fine print on each offer because sometimes the timeline varies, but generally the rewards will be added in the middle of the next month. So rewards from May will be posted in mid-June.

You don't have to use the whole certificate at once -- you can use it on multiple transactions. The only annoying thing is that if you're shopping online you can only use one certificate per order, which makes it difficult to place a big order or to use up the leftovers on a couple different rewards cards. In the store you can use multiple rewards cards at a time though.

Does anyone know if the rewards will stack? I seem to have more out of pocket spending listed online than I actually have - or my math could be off as sometimes my husband throws things in the buggy that I dont' plan for.

I'm wondering if I buy something for $30 with 100% rewards and turn in toner cartridges, do I get more rewards for the 10 toner cartridges I turned in.

I'm still trying to figure out how my rewards grew to almost $300. No complaints here - just curious if my math is goofy or if maybe there might be a loophole giving me more rewards than I planned for.

OK another newbie question.... (well two actually) can you use coupons on the max perks BONUS items and still get the full reward IE use 1/1 duracell coupon or the $5/25 coupon in the ad for the batteries (assuming you are buying two hence paying more than $25). Will you still get the $16.98 in your account or will paying less void out the reward?

You will only get what you paid so you will not get the full $16.98. This morning I found out something new about coupons at Office Max. When I went this morning and used a $10/$50 coupon I had from a school smart card, the whole $10 came off of one item. I bought some of the cheap items, 2 reams of paper, and 2 packages of batteries. I was a little shy of the $50 so I bought a few things extra to get to $50 thinking that the $10 discount from the coupon might make the extra items free or very cheap. NO, it did not! Since the whole $10 came off of one of the batteries, that means I will only get $6.98 in rewards for that item and still had to pay full price for the extras. Coupons and rewards programs are confusing sometimes. I wish I had known, I would not have bothered to get to $50.

The total amount of your recycling rewards issued cannot exceed your total qualified* purchase amount in your MaxPerks account. Ok, does the whole amount of maxperks count as qualifying items.

Example:
I have $20 in ink recycling rewards. I buy the batteries that are $16.99x 2: $33.98 Pay with my S20 ink rewards oop of 13.98 plus tax and still be able to get back 33.96 in maxperks rewards back?

I hope it makes sense.

Also would I qualify for getting this weeks ad of 10 free folders?
