I just got 2 printer cartridges from Office Depot and when they rang me up it was more than I remembered it should be. But I signed anyway and then went back to check it. Turns out that I was charged $5 more! So I went back to the register and told the cashier. Then she went and looked, pulled the price tag off and came back and gave me a refund.

I was happy with this as I have experienced the "somebody didn't put the right price tag up, sorry, no refund" excuse.

I don't know what state you live in, but in Michigan there is something called the "bounty" law. If something rings up differently then it is marked then you take it to customer service and they are required to pay you not only the difference, but also 10 times the amount of the difference up to $5.00. This is especially useful on groceries.

I now live in PA and they don't have the bounty law here. But check your state.
