Ok, I know in England there is a set of girl twins where one looks white and the other looks black (both parents are mixed). I clicked on this story and thought the difference would be just as glaring as the twins in England snopes.com: Mixed Twins

The boy twins from Germany they are calling "black and white" both look like they are black to me...just one has a darker complection.

Is this just the dumbest, most pointless story or is it just me? Breaking news: not all twins look alike. Whew, thanks for pointing that out for me!

ETA- I do think the girls are newsworthy...I think to say these boys are BLACK/WHITE twins is misleading and stretching it a bit...that's my frustration over it being international news.

There are actually twins at my son's school who are black/white. It's so cool!

I agree...but those girls are so cute. They like identical except the skin color.

The girls ARE amazingly different...I am talking about the boys on CNN are NOT like the girls. The boys have different complections, yes...but it's not like they look unrelated or anything. Long story short: The girls situation is way interesting...with the boys situation I think they were reaching...esp. because the lighter baby may get darker in a month or two any way. I guess CNN would not have gotten as many clicks with:"Black Woman, White man have twins with really different complections

Libra from Big Brother 10 has 4 month old twins, one black one white! CBS- Libra Bio There aren't any pics up but they were shown during the first episode.

When I did Early Intervention I had a mother who had twin girls who had different dads...one was white and one was black. The mother was white and one dad was white, one was black. She had had sex with one man one day and the other the next if I remember correctly...

You could tell the girls were related, they both had some of Mom's features but no one would have ever thought twins! One was also much bigger than the other. I couldn't tell you about how they look now though, I haven't seen them in 10 years!!!
