This whole thing happened fairly close to where I live, and I haven't even read the newspaper article yet! Not trying to hijack the thread, but I've seen Hulk Hogan shopping at Target before!

Dang, well I'm glad he's getting time, personally. This isn't the first ticket/accident he's had - and the boy needs to learn a lesson! As do his parents who have encouraged this behavior.

Agreed, so many of these kids think that there are no consequences to their foolish behavior and actions....not to mention as parents, we try and give them everything without realizing that we haven't truly prepared them to deal with adult toys/problems or consequences...Eight months doesn't seem long enough to me, considering the poor friend will be on life support for the rest of his life!! He should also have to do something with people who are victims of reckless driving after his prison sentence!
