This is a Recall Alert for those consumers who have the Gevalia 12-Cup Programmable “Kaffe Combo” coffeemakers (model CM830), with a glass carafe and two travel mugs.

We have recently learned that the warming plate heating element in the coffeemaker can melt the plastic outer shell, posing a burn hazard to users. In an abundance of caution, Gevalia announced a voluntary Fast Track recall of the coffeemakers in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

PLEASE IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE COFFEEMAKER AND CONTACT US AT 1-800-GEVALIA TO RECEIVE YOUR RECALL INSTRUCTION PACKET.

You will need to return the “Kaffe Combo” coffeemaker power cord to us in order to receive the replacement coffeemaker, travel mugs and coffee.


To express our appreciation for your business, once you have returned the recall instruction packet, we will send you, free of charge, a replacement coffeemaker, four (4) packages of Gevalia coffee and two (2) stainless steel travel mugs.
