Hey everybody! I haven't been here in awhile and am trying to regroup. This week will be my first time getting q's in months. I started to clean out my expireds and I let a lot of really good q's expire. But, heres where I was in a short (kind of) version.
About Sep. my lil sis called me crying hysterically and said she was going to commit suicide. So, I rushed down to where she lives (1 and a half hours away) got down there realized I was not able to handle the situation. I called my Uncle who came over and stayed with her while I called my mom. Mom got there 2 hrs later (lives 1/2 hr from me) we decided to take her in. She hated the hospital. She had cuts all over her arms. The hospital put her on suicide watch. She could not use the restroom alone, couldn't shower alone, her belongings were locked up, she was checked on every 15 min.(but nobody said anything to her), she couldn't wear her shoes and all there was in her room that she had access to was a bed, one pillow, a desk, and a chair. They removed the bedding so she wouldn't hurt herself. Anyway she got worse in there. We got her out. But, my mom and I almost got arrested in doing so and I had DS so he would've been taken away so we backed off for the night had court in the morning she got out and we had court again 3 days later so the judge could decide if she was stable enough to be out. So we got her into a therapist same day she got out. She helped keep her out. This stirred up a lot of emotions from my childhood and I had to come home as I wasn't able to handle the stress. I stayed home for 2 days and she called and said she needed me to be there. So, we packed and went down there. We came home once a week for 2 nights and then went back for 2 months.
Then DH's brother and his wife had their baby so we had to go there for the weekend. Then DS and I headed back to my sister's after that. Then came the holidays. Needless to say I had no Christmas shopping done and it was after Thanksgiving. I missed a lot of work so I was trying to make it up to my boss. I had no idea how many last minute shoppers there were!!! I was horrified. So had to fight the crowds in every stinking store just to get a couple things. Christmas came (we have 6 Christmases) and the day after our last Christmas which was a week ago we found out my uncle has cancer. Luckily its not the same kind my other uncle had (he passed 10 yrs ago from it). My uncle started chemo a week ago. He's in stage 2 but they are confident everything will go fine.
So, we went to see him and you can tell he is very sick. My family was devistated by this. Us kids (as we're called in our family- I'm 27) associate cancer with death so it has been very hard. The other thing is now he has to suffer the same way my Uncle Bill did.
On top of that we made several trips to DH brother's house as his wife has been sick since the baby was born.

On the other hand. I do have exciting news at our house.
No, I'm not pregnant (yet, but I'm pushing for another one!) we are taking our honeymoon!! We are going on a cruise to Western Carribean on Feb. 22 and we are going on the Carnival Triumph. I'm so excited. I have had so much stress lately this is something I am in desperate need of!!
I'm also going to be taking water aerobics to help with the stress. And, I really need to schedule a massage so I can breathe again.

Wow, I am stressed just reading about your stress, Lol..you def. need that cruise!! I hope that your sis and uncle get through this time safely..happy that you are back!!

Oh my goodness. That is a heck of a lot going on to deal with all at once! I hope you are able to relax and really enjoy your honeymoon! After all of that you really deserve it!!! Welcome back

Wow! I thought I'd had a tough couple months. I'm glad to see you back and hope everyone is okay. It's great you're going to be able to get away for a bit. After all that I'm sure you need to recoup!!!
