I find it sad that after they have struggled with LOW sales, ect., they still opened up new stores. The new one by me is dead all the time. It will close before its 2nd birthday at the rate its going.

I won a Gift Certificate in one of their recent contests - I better go in tomorrow & use it, hopefully it will be accepted. They are still running contests on their website.

I heard on the radio this morning that they are not taking their own gift cards anymore.

Give cash this year, folks - I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of this in the coming months until the economy stablizes.

I just came back from my local store & used the gift card that I had won with no problem.

That's good! Some folks apparently aren't getting so lucky. I'd say to cash those babies in ASAP just in case...

Our CVS giftcards are probably safe, though!

I also heard that they HAD to do this to make it through the holidays because their vendors were going to cut them off.... Maybe there will be some good after holiday deals here....
