That is so sad that this happened to this lady. It is even sadder that they just couldn't give this lady her money. Heck...I would of given the lady $30 for the gift card. Sometimes people just don't think.

Now, why did they have to take it that far, to me that is stupid, open the drawer and give her, her 30 bucks and get it over with...what drama to prove a point.

That is preposterous. The store (and the corporation) should be ashamed.

Oh I forgot another side...we really didn't hear WHY Target refused to give her the cash back, but it doesnt sound like they had a good reason.

I have shopped at that store and in all reality the lady can go to another Target. We have them all over the place in the cities.

I just can not believe they would treat an elderly woman this way. How silly is it that they would go so far. She had her receipt and her bank statement to prove the withdrawl had been made. That manager should be ashamed of himself and I can not believe they've filed a No Trespass against her.

Shame on you TARGET!!!

I hope that Target reexamines their refund policy on check payment if it going to withdrawl refund by ACH.

I don’t mean to sound harsh, but something sounds a little fishy... The story motioned "Christina had her receipt and bank records showing her money had been withdrawn. She wanted her $30 back." Did she bring that with her to the store??? If yes, why would she do that? It sounds like we are only hearing part of the full story. If you really want your cash, wait the 7 days.

If they bent the rules for 1 elderly woman, then they would have to start bending them for everyone.

I wonder if there was something wrong with the shirts, you know, for them to give her such a hard time. Maybe they were de-tagged and washed? Maybe they were a different brand than Target sells? Receipt or not... I doubt they would offer cash back for that type thing.
