Short of Albertsons, I have not found anyone who will double coupons. Every once in a while Kmart will, but I find their prices too high to start with. I am jealous of those whose stores double all ol the time - .

Albertsons doubles?? I didn't know!! Where are you at in NM? I would be willing to shop in Albuquerque if I had to in order to double.

Albertsons doesn't double all of the time. They had doubles a few weeks ago, and that was the first time this year they did it.

Albertsons doubles (on average) about once a month. If you check out the bottom of their flyer, it will usually tell you. I have had them double a few other times for no apparent reason. Once it even surprised the cashier, so she thought it was an "error" - but either way, it made for a nice shopping trip that time. Next time I see it, I'll try to post it here......

Wouldn't it be great if they doubled all of the time? I know they did one in January (I think it was) - got a great deal on Pamper's diapers and wipes. Maybe it is quarterly that they do it. I know I took advantage of it last time, but not the time before.

Last I went in I was told they double coupons every 4 to 6 weeks. I'm anxiously awaiting the next time. I have a question about Smiths. I read on the website that you can't double a paper coupon with any electronic one. Has anyone ever tried this? Because our Smith's doesnt double, it seems like this would be the only way to get a significant savings there.

You were able to use both at Smith's but a few months ago they updated their registers that the paper q will beep if an ecoupon is used. Besides it states in their coupon policy and on line where you download the ecoupons they can not be combined. I want to follow the rules so I don't do it.

Did everyone get the coupon flyer along with the circular from Albertsons yesterday? They will be doubling coupons through 6/28. I didn't see a whole lot of match ups, however. I may just have to work a bit harder this week to find the deals.

Thanks for posting this! I was just coming in to make sure you guys saw the ads. I didn't see much to matchup either, but some of their other deals looked good.

Hi there,
My name is Lucinda and I'm new to AFC, but not to couponing, although I recently started putting a lot more time into it. My family and I live in Las Cruces. Las Cruces has Albertsons, Walmart, Lowe's, Fiesta Foods, and Walgreens. (Oh, and I almost forgot - I think there's a few locals)
I've noticed a lot more people are couponing lately, even though they are not on this forum or maybe even this site.
I'd love to talk to somebody local. Anybody?

I'm afraid you are right. We are currently stationed at Holloman AFB, and we have of course the commy, the BX, and then downtown we have Walgreen's. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and a Lowe's Foods. That's about it unless you want to drive one hour one way to shop!! But I'm thinking when we head to Las Cruces, I might actually start checking sale papers and seeing how I can do on items that don't need to be refrigerated!

I would love to hear from anyone else in this area - especially if you have some great success stories and I'm still brand new to couponing

I have been on AFC for a couple years and had NO IDEA about this thread. If you want to see some good deals here the Smith's forum and Albertsons SW forum have some things. I have been couponing for a couple of years and kind of know the stores. Albertsons doubles quite a bit, you can see the history of doubling by looking at the albertsons sw forum and just going back a few pages, someone generally posts about doubling. Smith's has WAY lower prices than albertsons for you overall shopping. Smith's doubled once last year but that was it. Anyway I had no idea there were so many New Mexican's on here, there are a few in the Albertsons and smith's forum also. Im in Rio Rancho

So you have probably already seen the walgreens threads on afullcup those are pretty good at explaining the walgreens deals and couponing and then there is an albertsons thread on here for our area just go here

The deals are usually put up each week. The next ads start on Wednesdays and they sometimes have doubled coupons with make for the best deals on the sales items that week. But just go to that thread each week or whenever you are going to make your shopping list and there are usually posts on the good deals that week. Feel free to ask any questions there too. Couponing is really great, I have been doing it for a few years and it really saves money and after you do it for awhile you realise the things you and your family actually use and prices that are good stock up prices. But just ask any questions you have. Good Luck!
