I was reading an article about Walgreens Prescription Savings Club earlier, because a vet blogged about it for pet meds LOL. So when I saw this post after searching AFC, I checked WAG for your drug.
I can't enter links yet because I don't have enough posts, so:
Go to Walgreens site, click on
Pharmacy tab in top left area.
Walgreens Prescription Savings Club link will be towards the bottom of the left side menu, click on it.
Quote:
Eligibility and Enrollment
If you live in the United States or Puerto Rico and are not enrolled in a publicly funded health care program, such as Medicare, Medicaid or TRICARE, you are eligible for the Prescription Savings Club. Children under the age of 18 can be enrolled by a parent or guardian.
Enrollment for an individual is $20 per year or $35 for an entire family. Family enrollment includes spouse, dependents under the age of 23 and pets. Additional adult family members living in the same household, such as a parent or grandparent, will be issued their own card at the individual rate.

Drug Pricing Tool will be underneath an image of a magnifying glass --
it will only work with Internet Explorer.
Enter your drug name in the search box, and click the
Drug Search button.
There are 2 different Byetta doses listed, click on the one you need to get the price. The quantity thing is weird with the decimal points (I don't do this program, maybe someone else here could explain quantities with decimal points), but when set to quantity 1, the prices are:
BYETTA 5MCG PEN (250MCG/ML 1.2ML) = $180.62
BYETTA 10MCG PEN (250MCG/ML 2.4ML) = $107.63
I'd confirm those prices, for it seems odd that the higher dose would be cheaper. See if it does for you too when you try it, making sure to set the quantity drop-menu to 1 for both dosages.
But, also check with the mfr site: byetta dot com (sorry I can't post links yet).
At the bottom of their customer support page is a link about insurance coverage. Clicking that link discusses ins, but also has a link for Patient Assistance Program.
