Hi! I am new to this site, but not a new coupon shopper! I live in NW Omaha, and mainly shop Baker's, Target and Walmart. I've tried CVS, and would like to start shopping at Walgreens. I have several close by! |

| Ooohhh, Walgreens. Big learning curve. Harder than CVS but totally worth it if you can "get it". Luckily there's Walgreens about every 6 blocks in Omaha so it's pretty easy to find what you need. PM me if you'd like to do coupon/stockpile trades!

Hi! I'm also in NW Omaha but a total newbie to couponing. I have been sticking to Bakers and Walmart and Hyvee. I am hoping to get into Walgreens but gotta admit its a little intimidating! Plus, my time I can commit to my couponing is not much!

| I probably get my biggest savings at Walgreens, Target and CVS. It's easy to stock up on super cheap health/beauty and household items which allows me to spend a little bit more on my grocery budget. Since there is very little coupon doubling around here, I find it difficult to save as much money on grocery items. I typically save around 75% on health/beauty and household and maybe 30% on grocery. I do a lot of price matches at Walmart so I don't have to run around town to several grocery stores. If you can learn Wags and Target, you should start seeing significant savings!

I've been having a good week at Target, and have been spending a bit more time working on CVS as it seems to be easier. Got a great cashier at CVS and it made my whole trip! Not only did I break even on my extrabucks, but I walked out with $3 more in extrabucks than what I started with. My subtotal was $1.89, and with tax I paid just under $7 for 21 items. I was very happy with myself! |

I have some good plans for CVS as long as they have everything in stock...although it's a mystery until I get there.

I looked for the Cottonelle at Kmart too and found the same empty shelves. I did get some mailers from Bakers this week, and one had manufacturer coupons in it. One was for a 12pk Cottonelle for $2 off! So I think I'll make a Walgreens attempt with my coupons. I have the $2, 2 of the $0.75 off, and 2 of the $0.50 off. I've been studying the Walgreens forum so I think I've got the filler thing down I hope! |

I live in LaVista and Im nw at this but I did so good I would love to know how to update the site? Just Yesterday I have a counter full of stuff that I took home for 20.00. If we cld share with the people in our area we cld know the hot spots to hit One thing everyone soulf make sure they pick up this weekend is the Irish spings deod and body Wash. WalMart will price match to Walgreens after the RR so the Price Match to the 2/2 and you can either get ther deod free or the body wash for .50 Im telling you I stocked up this is the deal of the season.

Which Walmart do you shop at? I've been too afraid to ask the Walmart near me if they price match before or after Walgreens RR/CVS EB's. I also want to post my weekend CVS trip. Best deal I've ever done! |

When I called and asked my walmart (72nd & Giles) they said they do not PM after RR and ECB's...however, they've done it for me. It depends on what cashier you get. Hth.

I'm in La Vista and I usually shop at the walmart at 72nd and Giles. They used to be super-great about PMing, then they got all weird about it...but lately they're back to being okay about it. I try to be as nice as possible and chat up the cashiers since I know I'll be a bit more high maintenance. I like the Target at 84th and 6th st/Cornhusker too, but haven't been there in a while. I like the CVS in Bellevue, but I will be SUPER excited with the CVS at 84th and Harrison opens (the Big Lots building will be turned into a CVS). I also really like the HyVee at 96th and Q but only b/c one of the female cashiers at night is super helpful and always willing to go above the 'limit' on sale items. |
