Mystery Shopper for $$

www.sassieshop.com
1) Login to Link above
2)then go to contact us-then hit shoppers under this
3) sign up under mystery shopper

Be sure and put what area code you would be willing to shop in. The payment is $5 to $20 for each shopping trip and survey about the trip. I didn't have a code but I received this from my credit union as a way to become a mystery shopper and they pay thru Paypal. You do not have to use anyone as reference.
To my understanding this is legit, it's from my bank. I'll try it couldn't hurt to make a little extra$$ for checking out places and commenting and judging on their services.I haven't done anything yet just got this in mail Friday, but I did sign up. I did get an email confirmation immediately that I would be getting a job soon.
Thanks Lah123

I have shopped for Sassie and they do pay. I've never seen a job that PAYS $20 however sometimes you get, say a free pizza ($13 value) and $5 pay for doing it.

Sassie is a good one though.

Sassie is not a company, it is a software program used by multiple companies to schedule shops. I used to be a scheduler and would NEVER get involved in mystery shopping again but that is my two cents.

barb, why would you never get involved again? I've been doing mystery shopping for about 4 mths now, and I like it. It's not as fun as it sounds, but most jobs aren't! What I like about it is I can take my 11 mth old son with me.

I've never tried it just got this info from my bank and thought I would see what it was....I don't want to do anything that takes too much time and effort and you have to wait on rewards forever.. but if it was easy..then it might not be so bad. I've got to where I only rarely do survey's online..never snailmail stuff and the surveys online have got to where they do not give what is promised...the fine print tells you if your are selected after doing survey you will receive $$. I use to make $100 a month doing simple surveys and get free products in return also-- but that has slowly become nothing in the past 2 years..Companies have gotten so cheap. I just delete or spam mail the emails when I get them and go on.

I wouldn't because it is not worth the time. The companies have gotten VERY cheap. It is nice to be able to take the kids but when you average out the time that you spend driving to, doing the shop, driving home and then the amount of time it takes to write a report, the pay is worse than some third world countries. Plus, being a scheduler and going to the MSPA conferences showed me how much the companies and schedulers think of the shoppers. You should hear the things that they say. Shoppers in general are thought of as stupid and completely dispensable. The worst are the companies that act as though they are sooo shopper friendly while at the same time looking up your weight and posing as shoppers on the boards to say nasty things about other companies. It is just a really sick, unethical industry and left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. I shopped for a few years before I started scheduling so I have had a lot of experience.

I signed up last month to be a shopper and after I took all those little test and things I found out that you have to spend $7.00 per shop and they would pay you $15.00. I figured I could buy $7.00 worth of stuff and after coupons maybe spend $1.00 or $2.00. NOT they emailed me and said that I had to spend $7.00 after coupons! So needless to say $8.00 is not worth my time to type up a report for them. That is just MHO. The 2 cents smilie is missing??

I noticed that yesterday went I went to use it

Well, and not to mention how long it took you to actually do the shop. One could argue that you have to grocery shop anyway but when you normally grocery shop you don't go around asking inane questions of every single dept. and writing down (or worse memorizing) every person you talk to.

So basically if you figure that the shop takes 30-45 minutes and 15 min in drive time plus 30-60 minutes to do the report (depends how good and fast you are at it) you are making $4 an hour. That is less than min. wage. I know the shop and company you are talking about. I used to do it for Kroger (Smiths) all the time. There is also the Albertsons one.

Got an email for me sign up for a engagement ring shopping trip @ Reed's??? I'm married..Why would I go look at engagement rings? DH maybe gone for 5 weeks but I don't think I'll be replacing him that fast-LOL. It's probably not worth my time, I haven't done any jobs, just signed up- so you never know somethings unless you have a great site like this tell you what someone else alreadys knows and you not waste your time with it. Thanks Barb & Ticker

Those jewerly ones are a pain. Now the Starbucks and Gas Stations can be worth it since the report is so easy but I still wouldn't do it--one bad thing about the gas shops is the ones that are at night. It creeps me out to go inside a gas station at night

Gas stations scare me anytime of day. There was a spree of hold ups around this Christmas at Shell Marts--you would think night time robberies-- nope at 10 am in the morning on a weekday, no one was hurt but the guy had a gun so you never know.I never even go inside a gas station anymore..I just debit or credit everything outside and pray that the pump works right and that I get my receipt.

I shop for about 20 companies.

I have shopped for SassieShops.

I got all of my info on:

www.pocket-change.com

The first page has a SECRET SHOPPING link.

I do remember the company I shop Hungry Howies for needed shoppers last summer and had a promo for signing up people! I signed up DH & DD and put the link on FW and had people contact me. The bonuses they were giving were incredible too!
