I have been down for the count with some mystery virus for a week now so I had to not only send him shopping alone, he did the list and the coupons! (Today is the first day I've really been alert).

He was very proud of himself, he only spent $61 and did PM and $5 in coupons. Of course $26.48 of it was soda and he didn't buy anything for the weekend bc he wasn't sure if I'd be up to our usual Cinco de Mayo since I hadn't eaten anything in 4 days.

He was so funny, he said I found a coupon fairy. In my haze I was like that's great babe LOL. Here someone left a coupon and he used it

He said the checker was new but was really nice and actually KNEW the coupon policy!

I guess they won't actually starve without me!!

I'm just terrified to look at my coupon bin...DH said he bought a 2nd paper bc the coupons were so good...

Thats so awesome that he is helping you out. Well it helps both of you in the long run. I sent hubby out today to get Soda from food lion since I had gotten a free Catalina for coke an $1 off for Pepsi next and it bothered him so much. He even came back home and said that he got back .30 cents which made me excited but he was so annoyed by it. He says it's too complicated and time consuming. Ugh.

Frugality was something we had in common from day one. I just multiplied his understanding of all the ways to do it LOL

I'm finally myself again . So I did another list and he's heading back out now for stuff he missed. I haven't checked out my coupons yet tho

My husband would only do this if I give him 1-2 coupons. Any more and he's totally lost haha plus he always likes to grab extra stuff when he gets there and it's always stuff I had coupons for.

My husband will go with me to the stores, but he's more there as a buffer when cashiers get nasty. He won't let them give me and grief.
