This was a fairly nice trip except for the CSM coming to give me the overage from the transaction which was only 1 penny.

I got 1 KY, 2 Benefiber 3ct packs, and 2 Packs of UP2U gum.

I used $3/1 KY, $5/2 Benefiber, and (2) $1/1 UP2U gum.

Total with tax was $9.99. Minus $10 worth of Qs is 1 cent overage.

The cashier and I joked about it cause it was only 1 cent then the CSM comes over(young girl).

She huffs and puffs the hold time before the cashier could tell her the problem she says "Im not about to turn my key". The cashier tells her the deal and she then demands to see the coupons.

She then proceeds to check all the coupons and glaring at me as if I did something wrong, also she asked the cashier "Did you scan these?" as if she just threw the coupons in the register....

Finally after 5 minutes or so she turns the key. And throws the recepit and the penny into my hand.....

Is it really that serious to be mad over a Penny?!?!?!?!?

Perhaps you should have gave her a coupon for Midol. Sorry she was so grouchy, buy at least you got some good deals!

I really don't understand why they get so bent out of shape. It's not like the money comes out of their paychecks. It is in the coupon policy. When I read these I get so irratated

I am reverting back to middle school and I am triple dog daring someone to have a stack of feminine product q's (Midol, Always, Tampax, KY, etc.) to give to a pissy cashier or CSM! I have never dared anyone to do anything before but how hilarious would it be to see the face of the recipient when they realize what you are implying!

Dares have always been fun so today when I went here's what I had clipped together...

I didn't take my binder in I only took my little acordian file with the q's I wanted. I went in for sunbirds, kotex, ky, razors, and a few other odds and ends...

I picked the cashier who looked the most unfriendly (whoops) and stood in line and waited for her to check out the 3 people in front of me, inside cringing because knew what was coming!!!!!
I first handed her my q's and she rolled her eyes. Yep she was the right one, late 30s early 40s just overall extremely angry. I tried to make small tAlk to make it pleasant but she just huffed and puffed her way through my order and then looked at every one of my q's like they were all covered with the plague.
Nope can't take the ky because it is for more than the product....really? Have you ever seen your coupon policy? No, here let me show you. Well I need to ask a manager. Great call Kevin (MIL has worked as a CSM for 13 years under him) I always call him. Before he got over to the register he saw me and told her to push any of them through.
Omg I thought her head was going to explode she turned so read I was afraid she might stroke...so I had second thoughts but it was a dare after all.

I handed her my $2.16 for my transaction and handed her the stack of q's at the same time. She said you can't use anymore coupons. Ohhh no these are for you, I know how badly this time can be hopefully these will help alleviate the irritability. On my way out the door I was laughing so hard I was crying...I did stop at the CSM and tell the lady she might want to send Kevin back to that register cause she was absolutely livid.

Sorry but had my first impression been wrong I would have bought my items, used my q's and moved on without being ugly...but sometimes profiles are right.

I feel kinda bad for laughing but at what point are they going to realize that we are not going to go away and that coupons are a fact of life...those of us who didn't know before do now and were learning more everyday.

I do feel kind of bad, but she was absolutely horrible. She told my MIL this morning and she called me and "scolded me" for being so disrepectful. Although she said it was funny and the q friendly cashiers got a good chuckle...I may need to stay out of there for a while. LOL
