I did my weekly shopping on Wednesday, but most of my coupon stuff was out of stock. Today DH and I went to the WM closer to me(which I hate..)

I bought:
4 Schick razors $1.97 ea
10 Old Spice ts body wash $ .97 ea
2 Covergirl Ivory compacts $3.74 (on clearance, not many paleskinned ladies here!)
2 Colgate toothpaste $ .99 (pm to United)

I used
$6/2 ip for Schick x2
$1/1 q for Old Spice body wash x10
$8/2 for Covergirl
.50/1 Colgate
.75/1 Colgate

My total was $3.81 paid to me First time EVER and it wasn't supposed to happen! They were also out of the Swiffer polish and the bacon.

The cashier was impressed but questioned the Schick q. CSM gives me the picture only routine, I said READ it - it only excludes the 2 count.

The guy behind me in line asks did they just pay you to take that stuff? I smiled and said yep!

The only real problem was leaving the store. The buzzer went off, I handed her the receipt, she tries to DETAIN me saying I didn't pay!!!! I showed her I paid with coupons and she says that isn't real money. A manager came running over, I picked up my phone and said if I'm not free to go I'm calling my lawyer.

He apologized and off we went.

I've been couponing for 30+ years. I can't imagine ever shopping without them

The Old Spice q's I had two kinds actually. I had two from the paper inserts that were $1/1, then 4 of the $2/2 I got out of Charmin packages. So I didn't use more than 4 "like" coupons.

I'm not bothering with Bentonville on the door issue. I almost never shop that location (twice this year) and it just isn't worth it.

Had they not allowed me to leave, well then there'd be 12 kinds of ugliness!

What surprised me was I was told my $1.97 razors set off the alarm. We've been buying those for years and it's never happened before.
