So I went to Walgreens this morning to get a few things and I took my husband along with me so he could do one transaction first and I would use his RR towards my purchases. I got fillers and all that, I was able to use all of his RR's towards my purchase but SADLY no RR's printed for ANY of my transactions, I should have gotten a total of $8 back in RR's but NONE were printed for me. The lady says because I used my husbands RR's toward my purchase that they cancelled out my RR's not making them print!~ I have never had this happen before. Has this happened to anyone else? And what should I do? I am thinking about returning all the items I purchased that I didn't get any RR's on.... Idk what to do but I feel sick.

Were you buying the same items in both transactions? I only ask because you cannot use a RR towards the purchase of them same product and receive another RR. For example, if you bought a SoBe in one and used that RR in the next transaction and had a SoBe in it, you would not get the RR for SoBe again.

I'm guessing you paid for the same items that the RR came from? Like using the $10 RR from the fish oil to buy more fish oil, it wouldn't kick out another RR if you did that.

Did you use the same RRs that you were getting? If you bought body wash and got a 2 RR, you couldn't use that RR to get more bodywash.

Oh ok thank you all for clearing this up, clearly my pain meds are clouding my train of thought today, I bought a couple of the same items that he did, but I did also but a couple that he didn't so I am still missing like $2.99 ish in RR, but the rest I guess could've cancelled out due to using his RR's bc they were some that were the same as mine. Anyways I feel better about this now . THANKS!!!!

Thank you for posting this message. I have not yet tried the RR at Walgreens, and I would have been equally confused. It's really hard learning the tricks for all these different stores. And, since I am just learning, it seems that all of the rules are changing with couponing. Frustrating... But, anyway thank you for bringing this issue up, b/c I was going to do the same thing with the vitamins, and gillette things.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it also applies to same company sometimes. Such as you get a RR and on it, it says for buying a P&G product. If you used that on another P&G, the RR won't print.

I always try and do my transactions from the same item/manufacturer on every other one so I can roll the RR forward. I have to plan everything out on paper for the items number of transactions coupons and RR, fillers used because it's so hard to figure it all out in your head and before I was doing the scenarios on paper I always made errors, I feel more organized and less stressed this way~ HTH

Don't feel bad I screwed up bad today too! Did perfect in the morning went back with bf at night and was supposed to come back with the 15 rr I went with and got nothing! Still thinking of going back tomorrow but don't know how I could return/ exchange, they already have my coupons and I don't wanna waste what I have left! Ugh I'm mad as hell over again thinking about it

I do that too on sat night, but when I take my bf with me I " forget wth I'm doing" even when I just wrote down and have it with me to refer too! ugh! Lesson learned GO BY MYSELF!!!

That's right. Also to clear up something else for the OP. If you buy 2 items that print RR's from the same manufacturer in one transaction they will both print but NOT if you buy 2 identical items.

Me too that is why I had to make another trip yesterday. I still forgot my dasani water. And I forgot Kleenex the first time and the tv dinners. I HAVE to go by myself. If I go with anyone else they complain and get antsy and ask me if I am done yet ( my dear mother )!!! She is the worst. But she has no problems using the products I give her for free.
