Sooooooooooooooo........

I went to Walgreens tonight to do that lubriderm deal. They are $4.29 at my store! I was like YIKES! but I'd still be making money so how could I say no?

Well, I didn't have to say no. Once I got to the register I had my coupons in my hand. The woman was ringing it and noticed one was a WAGS coupon from the diabetes book. She asked for it and rang it after one of the lubriderm's. So, thus taking off only $1.

When I asked her to do it all at the end, she said "One coupon per custimer per offer".. of course I'm thinking "well, I am only USING one coupon but it should take $3 off".....

so I told her nevermind and left.
Anyway, try again tomorrow.

Some people can't stand it when you know how to get a deal and will try to stop you if they can. You did good telling her to forget it..........go another day to another cashier and I bet things are handled differently. Stuff like this does not get me down because.............."YOU CAN"T TOUCH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I WILL get my way. So WILL you.

when you do it at another store, make sure NOT to show the DAYM WAGc. Just give RRs if any, followed by 3 x $2 Lubriderm MQs and when all are accounted for, give the WAGc last. It should automatically take off $1 from each item purchased UNLESS cashier overrides it (but this is rare).

its good that you did not throw a fit under the circumstances. is that the store that ordered 37 meters for you? if so, that is a smart move on your part. I hope redeeming 37 meter MQs will be uneventful for you and they allow it in 37 transactions. keep us posted.

this isn't the same store. I might just wait and do it next week when I go to get my meter's. They seem to be more friendly. I already told the store manager why I was buying them, that I had free coupons for them, and that I wanted to get my $5 in RR for each one. I told her I wanted to make sure she knew what I wanted to do so that there won't be any problems. She said it was fine. I don't think I'll have any problems at that store.

what's funny is when I handed it to her she said out loud "One coupon per customer per purchase" and then rang it up and when I asked her about it she repeated "One coupon, per customer, per purchase".. which is when I just said nevermind. I knew when she said it the first time I was going to have a problem.
