I posted in another area about this great deal that i found using meter coupons and One A Day coupons and how i ended up getting the vitamins for free. Well, I have 4 children and have been stocking up on these vitamins and trying to get all of the varieties. I try to spread out my transactions thru out the 4 Wags in town over a few days time so that I'm not a pest ( I had enough coupons for 16 deals) for but evidently I have not flown under the radar as much as I thought.

Today, I went into my favorite Wags for a this same deal and my fav cashier was back from vacation so I wanted to say hi. I put my meters and vitamins, polygrip and robitussin up on the counter and went back to get Palmolive. When I got back, I saw the cranky asst. mgr who always gives me a hard time was high tailing it to the cosmetics counter where my goodies were waiting to be checked out. I heard her talking but didn't figure out right away that she was talking about me until after she had walked away. She will never say anything to me directly and instead always tells the BA (my fav cashier) that i'm doing something she doesn't like. Well today she decided that I had enough meters. She said..."She's been getting meters since Sunday and she has enough. She's done shopping for the day". I guess she made up a new rule that I can only have 1 meter per day. I always respect the limits on free after rr items. Although i do occasionally bring my DH to get in on the deals as well. And as a matter of fact, I only went into that store once in the last 5 days so i have no idea what she is talking about. But she kicked me out and told me no more deals for today.

I immediatly felt my face turning red and I felt embarrassed so I left with only my one meter and vitamins. I went to another Wags and finished up my deals for the day and was pleasantly surprised to find the nicest cashier EVER to check me out. I told her about my horrible morning and she was so nice that it made me feel better about things.

so when I got home, I emailed corporate twice. The long one about being kicked out of the store and then another nice one to the other store about the great cashier.

Within 2 hours, i had an email from the "nice" store thanking me for positive feedback and as I was reading it, the phone rings. It was the SM from the nasty store wanting to know what happened. I felt a little bad for emailing corp because it must make them look bad but they def got the point from my scathing email. I have been assured that I won't have any more problems (i have heard this before) and we will see when I go in there tomorrow. The icing on the cake is that I overheard the nasty mgr saying that I need a job so that I quit being such a pain in the a**. Little does she know that couponing is my part time job (with parenting being the FT one) and I will treat it as such. I will be in there every day abiding by their limits and I will continue to report her each and every time she gets snotty with me.

Ughh..I'm sorry that she made you feel so yucky! It can really ruin your day when a store doesn't treat you nice

I cannot STAND poor customer service like that!!!!! ESPECIALLY when they're willing to talk about their problem with everyone but YOU! Has always irked me -- I've been in CS all my life...there is no reason for it....particularly if you as the customer are trying to be respectful! Yeesh!

HA! Get a job???? Being a SAHM and PT couponer is the toughest job I have EVER had!!

I am sorry that happened to you at the one store and I am glad that hopefully they will resolve to fix it. I am glad that you emailed about your positive experience too!! That shows corp that there are stores willing to provide CS that will earn our respect and our money too!

If you heard the Asst manager say that while you were on the phone, I would have said something to the manager that called...something like "it's comments like that which made me call corporate to begin with." I would ask for her name and information. I would tell her to stop jumping to conclusions about your employment status because with the way the economy is changing these days, she never knows when her status could change.

Sorry...it's a huge pet peev for me to hear people assuming things about others.

Thanks for the encouragement everybody.... I found out later that she says really nasty things about me to all the other employees. One of the girls on night shift called and said she actually called me a f*****g nuisance. How rude. I have never even so much as had a conversation with her. EVER!

I will be finding out the days that she is not working and shopping then. I actually had put in an online application for that store.... I guess I will never be expecting that call... !

I hate managers like that. We are not doing anything wrong. If there was something wrong with this, then why does the Manufactures of these items have coupons out.

If you wan to avoid confrontation is ok but I heard from other people who were dealing with cashiers and their bad attitude, that after a call to corp they "Get Fix".
Don't let that women take away your hapinness and ruin your shopping routine. The store has to treat the customer right!

You go girl! My employment status is the same as yours... Have been a Domestic Engineer for almost 4 months now, and an AFC'er for about a month & a half... I think I work more now than when I had a full time job, since its actually like having 2 full time jobs, but my benefit package now is WAY better!

If in your position, I might have even made it a point to shop when she was there, maybe bring a friend along, and strike up a conversation with her, just to make sure she can do HER job (good customer service should start with the management) But, I'm just evil like that, hehehehehe....

OMG Really?!?! I wouldn't let her stop you from going into the store. I would do just the opposite. And when you over hear her saying things like that I would call the store manager for that store and tell her that you would like to meet with her and get this matter resolved because if she is doing this to you she may be doing this to other customers and that isn't right. And I am assuming that the SM does not know that this is going on.


I know that there are a lot of manages and cashiers that are on here that can probably give you better advice.
