So, I am still learning this whole Walgreens shopping thing The RR's, the coupons, etc.
I was VERY excited to go during my lunch today..So I did. My total before coupons was $84.32. My oop was 41.32 Not a bad savings, but I want to get down to paying cents
How long has it taken everyone to get this WAGS shopping down? Maybe I just bought too much.
I think I am addicted!!!!!
Here's what I got:
3 Dove Shampoo's
3 Dove Conditioners
1 Dove Deodarant
1 Dove Lotion
1 Garnier Nutriesse Shampoo
1 Schick Razor
1 Softsoap Body wash
1 Softsoap Ensembles
1 Colgate ToothBrush
1 Listerine
1 Arm and Hammer 2 in 1 Cloths
2 Stacy's Pita
2 Ziploc Bags
1 Mentos Gum
1 Bag of snack doritos (needed them for lunch)

I got $17.00 in RR.. So in essence, I guess I really paid $24.32.. So maybe not too shabby at all for all that I got..
What do ya'll think? Is this a good deal for all that I got?

Ugh! For some reason I am feeling bad about paying that much.

You did great, but maybe try breaking the transaction down into smaller ones so you roll your rrs and you won't have such a big oop. :-) But you still did a great job

yeah you need to break your transactions down into smaller ones and use the RR to pay...its kind of a pain You still did great and saved loads of $

I think you did great. I like this kind of stuff so it didn't take me too long to figure Walgreens out although those RRs can be really tricky sometimes.

Thanks I think my next trip I will try the smaller transaction. Also, some of my stuff wasn't available for the RR's.. I just needed them. That I think is what added the extra amount.

I just wish I could get mine down to cents. With our 9.5% sales tax on everything, I'm afraid it will never be that low. But I can dream!

Did you use MFG coupons from Dove, Listerine etc. during your trip? If not, you could have shaved off some more $$. And I agree that small transactions are less confusing. I don't worry about rolling RRs because I tend to use them on neutral items that we need. Ex. Milk.
