So my mom and I went to Walgreens today. My mom wanted to do the Suave deal and I was thinking about doing the Dove deal. We always wait to go until after noon or so. We don't clean the shelf out or anything we just get enough for our households. Well, today Walgreens still had the sale prices up from last week! When we started asking questions about this weeks ad we were told that they had no idea what we were talking about. We showed them the ad and they just kind of shrugged their shoulders and walked away. This is the first time this has ever happen to us. Usually the tags are changed way before we get there. They had plenty of associates there today, I think I counted like 8-10 or so on the sales floor. We were very disappointed.

My mom needed to pick up some pictures from the photo center and we waited there for about 10 minutes before the Assistant Manager came over and helped us. She didn't offer an appology for our wait or anything. We ended up not getting our deals because by that time we both were just so irratated we just got the free stuff on the back page of the ad and left. I will go back to another Walgreens later in the week, there are probably a good 6-8 here in town.

in your case, I would just grab a weekly ad (now if they also don't have the current ads by the door, I think that is too much and the SMs attention has to be called asap), then get the Dove and Suave you planned to buy. You can do a price verify at the register to make sure they are ringing up correctly. If they are not ringing up right, call the MOD to make them aware that the sale prices have not been activated at their store. When the items ring up correctly, proceed to check-out and hopefully, your RRs print.

give the store a little slack, their Christmas stocks have arrived and most stores are busy putting them out. Hopefully, your shopping will be uneventful inspite of the store not having tags on the shelf. Just consider it as an advantage on your part since you may likely find a lot of the items on the shelf since others may not likely be aware of the sale.

Most of the stores around here never have the tags right but I usually don't let it bother me too much. I always double-check the items against the ad to make sure I'm selecting the right ones and they always ring up at the correct sale price. In fact this often works out to my advantage because the fewer shoppers who are aware of the sale price than the more items that will be left in stock for me to grab! I find that most of the stores including CVS which have a large red label on the shelf exclaiming this is FREE! after register rewards usually are wiped out of product. When those red tags are removed then the shelf is usually stocked full.
