I went to Wags today to do my last two buys of Theraflu/Triaminic and had the worst experience. After screwing up my Q's with the "young male cashier", he had to void the transaction and call a manager. Well, the manager rung up my 3 meds (all with Q's), 1 filler and another filler which was the Tuf trashbags. So he scans my Q's and when he comes to my $6 and $2 RR's, he says "You can't use these for this purchase because they are Manuf. coupons and you already used coupons on all this except the bags." So I said "What???????????? I've never heard of this before" And he answered "Yeah, you would be double dipping (or something like that)" I told him it said "Good on your next purchase", and that it didn't say anything about not being able to use coupons for the items purchased. So he said it says that on the other Q's. ???? He said "All you have with no coupon is the trashbags and they are $2.99, you can't use a $6 RR on them, you can use the $2 RR if you want." So I said fine, here and then since my OOP was going to be more than expected I said "I'm going to have to pay with my Discover card, here's this coupon ($2 off any Discover card purchase of $2 or more) and so he took it and scanned it, I paid and did this twice. I told him I would have to call Corporate because I had never heard of this "Rule". When I drove away, I realized "That dummy, the last coupon I gave him was a "Manuf. coupon" and he took it without hesitating. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE????????? I guess I double dipped after all! I'm calling Corporate to ask about this; I've never had this problem or heard of anyone else. Thanks for letting me vent!
