The scenarios, item/coupon count, filler items-I finally get it.
The nice cashier at my closest Wags-I finally got that today!

I'm new to the Wags MM scenarios, but the most difficult thing for me has been the very unfriendly cashier at my closest Wags. The best piece of advice I have taken from AFC truly worked for me today. While checking out today, I got the usual unfriendly manner from the FT cashier, so I asked her which candy bar she recommends. Knowing that she receives a commission on her select candy bar, she said the Reese's Peanut Butter Lovers were 2/$1. I bought 4. Her mood and demeaner turned on a dime. My college-age DD was with me, and she had heard about her from me before we went in the door. We both noticed a drastic change to a very happy, talkative, cashier. She even said, I'll see you next week, as we left.

That was better than the $5 MM on the Zantac! Thanks AFC!!

Glad that worked for you. We have until tomorrow for the 2/$1 WAGc to get overage if we're using the Reese's coupons.

I have always found it makes a nice cashier when you greet them..smile...always be polite and of course...BUY THE CANDY
I do try to buy one now and then from my fav cashiers or give them Q's/freebies or advice on where to get something cheap....

Me too. I drove by her store to go to two others that were farther away.

I did not know this? Cashiers get commission? Other than candy bars, what do they get commission on? This is a great tool to use in the event that I were to encounter an unfriendly cashier I'd like to use this to my advantage.

I try to always ask what "the deal of the day" is, and try to purchase it at least once in my transactions. They really seem to appreciate that, heck, they are there for the money, too!!!

I never knew that they got "points" for us buying the suggestive sell candy.
