The cashier who doesn't say anything but the body language and the inspection of the coupons tells you they hate to let you have the deals you're getting? I went to Walgreens today and have never had an issue and I wouldn't consider this causing me an issue either. But the cashier just was inspecting the coupons like they were high-tech fakes and she didn't say more than Hello to me either. I have just started couponing and using my RR a few weeks ago.So far(knock on wood) I haven't had any grief with them.Generally the cashiers are friendly and like to see the deals I have gotten. I even give them extras when I have them.It was strange today though, she just seemed completely annoyed that I had all those coupons and was using my RR also.Anyway,I'm just wondering if you ever get the really uneasy feeling because of cashiers like this?

I did when I first started using coupons. New and un-sure, is what I call it.. ..Now I have the confidence it takes I guess. so I don't feel this way anymore. However, at K-mart one day I had the cashier lean on the register reading my coupon, I poliety asked her to give me the coupon back and to take that product off of my order. I don't mind them reading it read all you want, just don't ignore me like I'm not there.

I have only had one cashier tell me they can only take one coupon. I took everything off, went to another WAGS and used all my coupons. I haven't had a problem with the 2 WAGS I frequent so I can't say I have problems. The only thing that may have happened is that the cashier may have taken a fake coupon and is now being extra careful.

All the time, as long as they keep scanning, I could care less.

It happens. You come across someone who is either overly cautious or just plain confused. Another post could be right, she may have accepted something she shouldn't have and is now more careful. I do get uptight on occasion still and I have used coupons for years. Hang in there but be prepared to walk away if you have to...sometimes it's not worth the trouble |

Cashiers with battitudes...when it's my turn, I look at them and RIGHT AWAY find something "nice" about them, their hair style/cut,their hair clip, their ring, whatever and then I compliment them about it. Try it, because it completely changes their attitude. How can you be gnarly to someone who just noticed you in a positive way? |

I wish I could always take the high road and be nice to them! I don't mind confused cashiers or cautious cashiers, but rude ones who are just acting like you are nothing but a pain to them are a whole other thing for me. I will go out of my way the next time I am there to have that one ring me up. Because I am not doing anything wrong and they can check me out whether they like it or not. And if they say anything, I'll tell them. Example: This one cashier always gives me the "looks" and never greets me or says anything to me. So one day I got an exceptionally good deal - like .10 oop for a whole pile of stuff and I was trying to juggle the change, register rewards and receipts as well as the bags and for some reason she assumed I didn't want the receipts. She wadded them up and began to throw them away. I said in a sugary sweet voice, "oh I'm sorry, I need those to track my savings." She glared at me, stuck her had out oh so slowly and just dropped them wadded in my hand with the most mean look on her face. I was so infuriated with her body language etc... so i just flat out killed the sweet voice, looked at her dead on and said "is there a PROBLEM?". Once I called her out on it she changed her attitude. "oh my allergies must be getting to me" Yeah right. So now when I go in, I do one trans at a time and go through her line. Just because I can. I don't know, it is probably mean of me to do this, but I'm never mean when I see her, always nice. I just figure if you don't like what I'm doing and are going to show it then lets just do a little repetitive therapy on that problem of yours sweetie!

I'm a cashier at wags and I would never treat any customer like you were treated....please take the time and report this woman to the store manager.... they need to know!!!....it makes me nuts when I hear all your stories about mean, rude and unfriendly cashiers... it just gives us good ones a bad name.....At the store I work at customer service is # 1! We are required to greet every customer who enters the store... and if we don't give the customer a receipt they will recieve a $5.00 gift card!

In general I have wonderful cashiers. My favorite are at the cosmetic counters and also in my special Walgreens I go to in a rough neighborhood. LOL. Anyway I went last night to one I don't typically go to. Both cashiers were not very nice and just seemed tired. So I take it all with a grain of salt. However, one of them said" Oh, you sure like to play this Walgreens game" in a very sarcastic way. I have never had someone talk to me like that at Wags. Ever. So I just smiled. As one PP as long as you keep scanning, I am OK. It kind of bothered me, though, as I left 30 RR richer than when I came in and with more Theraflu than I know what to do with. But then I thought-I just reinvested some of my RR in Walgreens. That helps them. I just gave them tons of coupons they will get reimbursed for. That helps them. I also helped them move some of their inventory. That certainly helps too. They had TONS of Theraflu-I mean every type and every symptom-so I must have been one of the first to take advantage of the deal. This made me feel better and I know I am not doing anything wrong.
