I printed up 2 Thera flu $2 coupons and used 1 $1.50 coupon.. My cashier returned one of the IP coupons telling me that her manager gave them notice last week that they can't accept 2 IP's for the same product if it has the bar code on the coupon. So I was only able to use 1 Ip and one sunday paper coupon. I got son angry I went back and used all my RR's on some hair care stuff, and am not sure I will even bother going back to Walgreen's with this problem, and crappy coupons , I am so done.

You can NOW only use one coupon per item sold...

EVEN if your coupons are one manufacturers and one store coupon. I had a talk with the manager this am, about this. SO heres what you do...buy a filler..anything, she showed me and it worked.. she said the machines are now programed to take just one q' per item sold.

i bought hand sanitizer as a filler as it was on the counter, but you can do something cheap like a halloween pencil, or something.

course this may just be my store, but i doubt it. so maybe try it out.

good luck, dont give up so easy..youll miss out on killer savings =]

I had a filler. bought a pencil. Yes I had one coupon per item, the problem was there was 2 coupons that were printed from the computer, and they had the same bar code, because of this she would not take it. According to her Walgreen will no longer take 2 IP coupons for the same product if they have the same bar code.. it is not about a filler.

the MOD may have been confused. the Theraflu IP is a bricks coupon and even if they have the SAME barcodes since they are "like" coupons, they are still unique with different verifi-codes on the upper (R) hand side. Try explaining it while showing what the verify codes are. Whereas, with the Zantac IPs, they are SS IPs and they still have unique PIN codes located on the middle part (L) side of the coupon. They also have the same barcodes for all Zantac IPs. Hopefully, the MOD will listen when you explain to him/her and thereby solve the problem.

It will be hard to do buy X deals, get Y RR back if you can only use 1 IP for a set of items. That will be frustrating since you may not get them at a good price. And, forget about MM deals

This seems odd. My WAGS just accepted my 3 Theraflu IP Q's today, for 3 Theraflu's. Maybe I am missing something... Are you saying you wanted to use 2 Manuf. Coupons for 1 item?

yes like josh ^^ says you can point out that there are different verification codes on them. i have had to do that as well. if they have the same veri code then they are not going to take it. good luck sorry you had a hard time.

This horror story is like all the others that are spooking me about WAGS. I'm no longer trying to build RRs, but rather build useable inventory.

its so sad, the abuse done by a few ruins it for all. I just read copied RR was found in a store

like Barbara, I'd rather not collect tons of RRs I may not be able to use should they implement new policies because of recent developments

Whenever a wags gives me a hard time, I say "Cancel my order, return my coupons, and I'll take my business elsewhere" then give the manager a call later and see if they won't straighten it out. It really does boil down to misinformed cashiers. I don't mind collecting RRs because I can cash them out whenever I want, they are manufacturer Qs after all, not walgreens exclusively.

Yes, they are mfg. I've read some stores take them and some don't. Maybe I'll try my grocer and see if they'll take it and go from there.
