Grrr another reason i am disliking walgreens.
For 1 they have been out of sambucol for the past week, i really think they know that we are getting overage and just aren't re stocking the shelves.
Another thing is that tonight i went in to do the diaper deal and they were out of my diapers, so i walked down the chip isle.
They had the big cans of pringles on sale or clearance for .44$ so i grabbed the last 4 and headed up to the register and pulled out me $1/2 coupons. Well the register threw some candy and handed her the coupons. Well the coupon beeped and she looked at me and said you have to buy the bigger size. I said excuse me they dont make any bigger then this, she said well you bought the wrong kind. I said no the coupon says "any" she said well i seen a bigger can blahh blahh. I am like lady, trust me pringles dont have an Xtra xtra xtra large can. So i just said forget it and walked out.
I feel like never going back, every time i do its something else!

Ask for a manager next time- that's ridiculous. Recently, I tried to use that ritz coupon for the bogo sale at Wags, it beeped and the cashier said "Hmm,the coupon doesn't specify size, but they must mean a bigger size, since it didn't go through."
He was a really nice guy, and it was my first trip to that Wags, so I didn't want to rock the boat. But typically, I would have asked for a manager and pointed out that coupons can't have unwritten rules and can't "mean" to say something that they don't.

There is ONE coupon out there for pringles that is for the newer cans. We looked at the ones we have and its for the larger cans. They are new b/c i found them at kmart. Im not sure if thats the coupon you have or not. Not trying to be a downer i promise!

No it was the $1/2 pringles any kind. These were regular pringles on sale nothing special. The coupon says 180g or larger and these were.

I "think" the first coupon went thru without beep, just the second one beeped? The item was on sale for .44 x 4 = $1.76, so the first $1 will be fine but the second one will beep since total is less than $2. It has to be pushed thru.... you don't have to buy a bigger size, but since your item total is less than q, the register beeps. The other items (candy bars, fillers) won't help you on this because it has to be "pringles" total over $2 in order for the qs not to beep. Hope that helps!
