I am most definitely still learning (I have to take back the Just for Men - I bought the wrong one and didn't get any RR and the Sunsilk - I thought it was $4.29 for 2 and get the 3rd free, not each), but all in all a good trip. I also didn't realize I would have to spend so much (~$111 pre rebates), but when I looked back over it tonight, everything I bought was a deal And lots of Christmas shopping done (love the $5.99 toys and my stire had a FABULOUS selection), as well as stocking the pantry. I also got to share the love and gave another coupon-er coupons for $1 off Honey Nut Cheerios on $1.99 for $0.99 a box! Thanks, too, for the rain check tip! I had to get one for the cranberry sauce.

Keep up the great work. If you are new stockpiling expect to pay more at first. The longer you do the cheaper it will get. Check out eh stockpiling threads. After you get one started then you can only buy what is cheap or free ad be more selective

So I went back tonight to return the Sunsilk & FiberOne, get the right Just for Men, and stock on more goodies.

Well two super big wins - 1 plain Cheerios were $1.99 at this store and I had a catalina for buy 5 GM cereal and get $2 off. Since the limit was 4 for the $1.99 price, I asked the cashier if I could buy a 5th box at regulat price and use the coupon. She said the 5th scanned at $1.99 and I could use the coupon, so I got 5 boxes of Cheerios for $8/ $1.6 a box!!! AND I got another $2/5 Catalina and since my sister was with me, you guessed it, I sent her back for 5 more boxes and did it again! My DS is 18 mo old so we live on Cheerios and his preschool is always needing them so this is huge! (I am going to price check it against Smart & Final's bulk this weekend, but compared to the $3.5-$5.5 typical, I didn't do too shabby!)

The second big win was the Gazelle 2-in-1 vac. I went to look for one and spotted a bunch up on a shelf. There were two prices with the $20 off rebate - the first $79.99-20=$59.99...uh, no thanks. Then the second was $49.99-20=$29.99... now we are starting to get talkin'... I asked a manager and she looked at them both and realized the $49.99 price was from 5/31!!! BUT, she said she would still give it to me for that price and since the $20 rebate is still good, I got it for the $29.99! I am so excited - it isn't free, but it is more then 50% off! In hind sight I should have bought the Just for Men first, and used the $7RR towards it....ah, so much to learn! I had a couple of other good buys 6 more of the $5.99 toys (my sis bought 3), more PB & tuna... I did forget to give her my raincheck on the cran sauce, so ended up paying fullprice (it had my coupon on it), so I will have to go back to fix that, always learning..
