I've discovered that if you have a q that totals more than the amount, then of course it will beep when they scan it. However, if you have more than one of those items, then the register takes the grand total, and as long as the grand total is less than the q amount, then the q will scan and not beep. I bought 5 Renuzit Tri-Scents @ $2.59 ea. that totaled $12.95, so I was able to use three $4/1 qs and they didn't beep, so I paid 95c for five of them! It's worked on other things in the past that I've tried when things went on clearance.

Had balance on gift card, so my OOP was actually $0!

You are lucky-because my store goes by the fine print-$5/$20 after all other coupons and discounts

I have the coupon just got the link...going crazy if it is on the retail value or after coupons...I think I might call them...would they tell us...I am going crazy

In my stores, the $5/20 q will scan as long as I give it to them first, and my total is $20 after all ESC and in-ad q's are scanned. Then, I can give them all the manus I want and it will not kick the $5 discount off.

I had cashiers who were more excited about the coupons than I was. Plus, I ran into a friend that is getting into coupons and I was able to help her do some successful transactions.

Yes, they'll rebate you the full item price that scanned, they don't take into consideration coupons.

Plus add 10% if you get your rebate on a Gift Card!

I did it 3 times tonight, had to total more than 20 after qs, grr. Not sure if everything rang up the way it should've with qs, I need to look at in the morning. They were out of choc chips, PB, corn starch, baking powder, frosting, and only soups we don't care for were left. ACT popcorn was on clearance for $1. Got mostly razors and bioinfusion (never tried that before), .

you know what? this trip is bugging me because I spent about $44 OOP, even though I'll get the rebate, it now seems like a ton of money. Maybe it's bugging me because I know the last thing I needed was more shampoo/conditioner?

good lesson learned. I also like that spending $20 on one transaction seems like a ton of money now. Thanks to this site for teaching me that.

so, if you give the $5/20 coupon to the cashier before the other coupons, and your balance is more that 20.... will it take the $5 off? and then if your other coupons brings the total to below 20... below 10... below 5... will the $5 stay off, or does it add it back on?
