Facts "Smartest Shopper" (sorta long)

My trip to Walgreens this afternoon proved to be a hoot!

Thought y'all would enjoy the replay.
After church services, I walk in the store still dressed in my Sunday best
and seeing a couple of my favorite cashiers, they walk over when they see me
and say we knew you'd be here sometime after church.

I proceed to load my cart with items I wish to purchase.
I go to checkout and tell Tracey, "now you know I want to do a couple of
transactions..." She laughs and said, "Well, of course, Ms. Becky."
(Gotta love it.)

I purchase:
1 Oral B toothbrush $4.49
2 cheap candy fillers .88

Hand her a $5RR I received from the Reach deal yesterday.
My total OOP is .80 cents
and plus I received a $4.50 RR for purchasing the Oral B product.

While I'm placing my items on the counter for my next transaction, my husband, Tom walks up about that time and Tracey says to him,
"Your wife is the smartest shopper we've got at this store."
Tom laughs and says, "well, who do you think taught her how to do all of this?"
I tell Tracey, "Not him, but I've learned from the best, some very educated shoppers." (Y'all know who y'all are....)

Transaction #2:
1 Gilette Fusion razor $8.99
Used a MFG coupon -$4.00
2 cheap candy fillers .78

Paid a $5 RR from the Reach deal yesterday
My subtotal is now .77 cents
Tax was .78 cents
so TOTAL OOP $1.55
and plus received a $4 RR for purchasing the razor

I tell Tracey, I'll see her tomorrow when we do some more
"smart shopping."

Thank you all for your posts because I learn so much from reading them and am having a blast stockpiling items with very low money OOP.
Thanks again!!!!

Nice to see that there are some good ones out there. I like most of my Wags here but there is one that I really don't think I will ever step foot in again. I tried to go back there and give them my business last weekend to do that robitussin and well they were rude and nasty and I just don't think I will bother going there anymore. I really dislike that store. I have 3 that I love though!

Great trips by the way and I love that your DH says that and goes with you!

Sounds like you've cultivated a great relationship with your WAGs employees. That's probably the "smartest" thing a shopper can do.

I love my WAGs too.
