My first time at double dipping at Walgreens. I had my list all mapped out and my two teenagers with me. (13 yr old girl, 15 year old boy). My son wanted to know just how long we were going to be in this store. My daughter (who is my coupon trainee (sp) ) told him that it depended on whether they had any of the things in stock. I have trained her well.

After manufacturer coupons and Walgreens coupons, 5 off 20.00 coupon and a 4.50 RR my cost was $33.61 oop but I have 25.48 in rebates and 5.00 rr so my final cost for all of the above was ............... $3.13.

My best ever trip to Walgreens. The cashier was wow you did really great. I said it definitely pays to use coupons.

On a funny note, remember my children are with me, I went to the aisle to get the KY and stopped in front of all the products. My children turned to me with their mouths hanging open. My daughter looked at me and then told her older brother to go with her to look at the halloween aisle. I just started laughing. I can't wait to tell my hubby when he gets home. How do they think they got here ???

Good job!! I too did the double dip for the first time today and made out really good. I spent 44 dollars saved 65! I was so excited plus I submitted my first rebate today to get my walgreens gc. So I saved even more on the total when you factor in the rebates The cashier that checked me out said the same thing to me that I did good and she said that coupons are really worth using. She said she tells her customers that all the time but alot of people just don' t want to put the time into clipping and planning visits. It did take me some time to write down my plan and pull my q's prior to visiting. But it was well worth it.
