I went to the commissary yesterday on my way home from a few other stores to see if the Farm Rich cheese sticks for 1.49 were in stock and also the Cooper brand cream cheese (8 oz) for .99. Luckily they both were (thank you to whomever went to McChord AFB yesterday, Dec. 30, and left those Farm Rich coupons in the freezer section! I misplaced one and picked one up from what you left!). These were great deals in and of themselves but I wanted to get everything for as little as possible (because isn't that what it is all about?) so I stopped by the Equal section and they were IN STOCK! so exciting since the other commissary on Lewis always seems to be OOS. I picked up Equal Classics (115 ct) at 1.50 each and Equal Saccharin (90 ct) at .90 each. After I looked at my receipt I realized that the 4.80 I earned in overage from the Equal covered just .10 shy of what I was paying for my 10 Farm Rich Cheese sticks ( ![]() It gets better! Because earlier I had stopped by Albertson's to pick up some cheap Huggies Pullups and received a $5 Manufacturer coupon catalina for my next shopping trip. Checked the header, which read "Redeem at Albertsons" and the fine print that said no alcohol, no tobacco, etc. So, I used the $5 catalina to bring me down to 1.45! Add on my 5% surcharge (2.30) and I paid 3.75! That is a savings of 44.60 (96%)! Again, thank you so much to the coupon fairy that left their extra Farm rich coupons behind! Also, thanks to NomadPixie and all of you that contribute to the sticky notes she creates monthly! I really do appreciate it, even when I don't make it to the commissary in a bit, I always check the forum, and each and every one of you are absolutely amazing! You're helping to feed others, which is absolutely trying for some families during this economic crisis, so happy holidays to you all, you are all absolutely wonderful. ![]() Here is a breakdown for anyone that doesn't want to read my novel: 10 Farm Rich cheese sticks 1.49 each - (10) $1/1 MQ (= 4.90) 7 Equal Classic 115 ct. 1.50 each - (7) $2/1 MQ (= -3.50) 13 Equal Saccharin 90 ct. .90 each - (13) $1/1 MQ (= -1.30) 4 Cooper cream cheese .99 each - (4) .40/1 MSQ (= 2.36) 1 Butt Paste 4.99 - $1/1 MQ (= 3.99) = 6.45 - $5 MQ catalina from Albertson's = 1.45 + 2.30 surcharge (5% before coupons) = 3.75 (96%)!!!
