I bought a few expensive items (that were still on sale)... So, my cost was a bit higher than I thought, but I still think I did pretty decent considering this was my first big shopping trip since I joined AFC! Here's what I got: 4 Gen. Mills- 2 Fruit cheerios, 1 regular cheerios, 1 honey nut (4 for $7) Arm n Hammer Detergent (sale $3) Lansinoh breast pads (sale for $6) 2 Suave Shampoo (clearance $1.25 ea) 2 Suave Body wash (clearance $1.25 ea) 2 Jars skippy (sale 1.89 ea) Cover girl powder ($3.59 at 10% off) 2 bags Market pantry cheese (sale $1.75 ea) 1 Gal water (.89) 1 Jar classico (sale $2.14 ea) Total (not sure if it was before or after tax)- $39 and some change Coupons: $1 off 2 Gen. Mills (used 2) .50 off Suave hair care .50 off Suave Body wash Buy 1 Get 1 free suave body wash (coupon beeped so she took off $2!) $1 off clasico $1 off Skippy (used 2) .50 off market pantry cheese Total after coupons, before tax: $26.48 They didn't have any smuckers, market pantry chips, 3 pack toothpaste, or pop secret on sale at all at my Target... Still, I guess I did ok!

To cut down on clutter, let's start posting our trips in one thread instead of creating dozens and dozens of threads per week, shall we? Everyone here at AFC appreciate those that take their time and breakdown their great shopping trips and finds! I know I do!

Electrasol was on sale at the Target I went to tonight, 2/6 (sidenote: I bought exact same product at a different Target a couple days ago, reg price 2.79). There were bigger boxes (I think 32 ct?) of Electrasol on sale for $5, and the Cascade Action packs 32 ct. were on sale for $5 as well (like anyone is buying Cascade right now anyway!) Shelves were fully stocked - either this Target is on top of things or the hardcore couponers haven't made it here yet. |

| I had a great time tonight!
cashier was a 20-something young man. he did NOT like my coupons but didn't give me any problems (and I even got overage, woohoo!) bought: 2 bonus size Johnson's shampoo (clearance 2.37 ea) 4.74 6 - 25 ct Ziploc (at checkout, 1.00 ea) 6.00 7 Gerber Grads lil entrees (sale 1.59 ea) 11.13 Huggies baby wash - price cut 2.79 2pk Viva big roll - clearanced 2.54 Gerber Grads yogurt melts - sale 2.39 Gerber Grads cereal bars - sale 1.66 Gerber Grads juice treats - sale 2.31 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner - 1.77 Huggies 80 ct wipes - 2.39 2pk Hanes underwear for DH - sale 7.00 2 Stayfree pads (2.84 ea) 5.68 4 - 10 ct Bic Cristal pens (sale 2/1) 2.00 2 Johnson's Buddies bars (have to see what the fuss is all about! .94 ea) 1.88 Hefty trash bags (the reason for my trip) - 6.64 Crystal Light 14 pk - limited time value pack of 3 - clearanced to 6.78 total before coupons (and after tax was 74.xx coupons used: 1 - Target 5/3 (for Stayfree and Johnson's) 3 - 1.50/2 Ziploc bags mfr 1 - .75 Target Ziploc (from Target's "half past summer" mailer) 1 - .75 Gerber Lil Entree IP mfr 1 - .75 Gerber Graduates bakery item IP mfr 1 - .50/2 any Gerber Target q (from Target baby mailer) 2 - 1/3 Gerber Grads lil entrees mfr (got in mail from Gerber) 1 - .50 Viva mfr IP (got in an email from Viva) 1 - 1.00 Viva Target CRT 1 - .50 Lysol toilet bowl mfr 1 - 1.00 Lysol Target q (summer mailer) 1 - .50 Huggies wipes mfr 1 - 1.00 Huggies wipes Target (baby mailer) 1 - 2.00 Huggies wash Target (baby mailer) 1 - 1.00 Huggies wash (mfr) 1 - 1.50 Hanes premium underwear Target CRT 1 - 1.00 any Hanes premium underwear mfr (peelie on package!!!) 1 - BOGO Stayfree mfr 1 - 2/2 Johnson's shampoo mfr (rec'd in mail because Bricks was unable to print) 2 - 1/2 Bic stationery product IP mfr 2 - 1/1 Johnson's Buddies product IP mfr (got .12 overage!) 1 - .75 Hefty bags mfr 1 - 1.00 Hefty Target CRT my total after coupons and including tax was 33.84. I noticed that the cashier didn't scan one of my Ziploc 1.50 q's (grr) but the Gerber rang up $2 instead of .50 - so that evens it out, right? I think one of the other Target q's rang up wrong too (rang up more than it should have) because I added it all up, and I paid a little less than I should have. That's the downfall of using so many coupons (that have to be k1'd especially) - it's really hard to match them up on your receipt. I'm happy - I got a lot of "necessities" for a good price and a bunch of other stuff for free! The Gerber Grads alone would have costed me about $20, the underwear normally $10 and the Crystal Light about $7 on sale at the grocery store...so this is pretty cool! |

Hey guys! AFC staff and I had a discussion, and they have granted us a subforum to use for your trips! You can either start a new thread, or you can continue to post your valuable trips here for everyone to see! I just want to say thank you to all who take the time and post the details of your trips! I find it extremely valuable when I don't always have the time to sit down and do price match ups with coupons. You are all valuable assets to AFC!
