I almost never make it to the store the first day of the sale but this week I was somewhat on the ball. I didn't have all my coupons ready but I had enough to get started.

First I went to the Warwick shaws on the way home from work. They were out of most of what I had my coupons for...oh well I'm sure they'll restock.
Catalina deal:
4 Gold medal flour (no Q)
8 BC potatos (6 25 cent/1 and 1 $1/2)
6 Kleenex - flat pink box with flowers (50 cent/3)

Not sure if counted for catalina deal so didn't include when figuring my total:
2 boxes cottonelle wipes - the new green ones. Aloe or something? ($2/1 catalinas made them free )

Other:
6 Nesquick (50 cent coupons)

I also had a $1 bonus buck or something. Not sure why I got it or when.
Total was 22.76 and I got $15 in cats

Then I went to Cranston and had a little better luck, was able to do a double deal:
4 BC potatoes ($1/2)
20 rolls scott paper towels ($1/4)
4 progresso broth ($1/1)

non-cat:
6 more nesquick (50/1)

I used the cats from the previous trip
Total was $9.65 and got back $30 in cats

Funny story about the paper towels. The warwick store was out and I was a little bummed, it being the first day of the sale.

Then the cranston store had a ton. They didn't have a sale tag up so that's probably why. I grabbed 16 rolls and went to look for other stuff. I ended up deciding to get 8 more paper towels. Went back and there were only 7 rolls lift! Wow those are going fast. They disappeared in about 10 minutes from being fully stocked.

When I went to check out the person ahead of me had a ton of paper towels, coupons, and cats from a previous transaction. Of course I was too shy to ask if she was from AFC. Were any of you at the Cranston Shaws checking out around 6 pm?

Great job! I got 4 PT when the store first opened Friday morning. They were out until I went back for my "final" transaction tonight. I went back in when I saw they had restocked! They're a money maker without coupons, so I wont count on seeing them again.

I went shopping early on Friday. Plenty of paper towels. Went home, re-grouped - went back. Nada.

The store manager started talking to me about this weeks deals. I mentioned the towels being cleaned out. They re-stocked while I was still there. I expect to see none for the rest of the week though.

We just finished our second day at the Shaws in Tilton and I can't say enough good things about those folks. Maybe it's just the evening crew, but, man do they go out of their way to help us.
So, yesterday we did $768 and spent $38 oop and got $30 in CATs back.
Today we did $958 and spent $29 and now have $35 in CATs and got $8 in survey bucks! Thanks to everyone here at AFC for all their posts and help. Kudos to those that "take one for the team" by going in first and posting their trials and tribulations!

The Scott Paper towels are psp $2.09 = $33.44 for 16
sale price is $.99 = $15.84
there are $1/4 Q's out there, there were blinkies right next to them at our Shaws
so, using 4 of the Q's you end up with $11.84 oop and get $15 CAT
